@MrB1Brian Hi and thank you. The ploughs came on her from Dan Jeavons, not sure you can buy them separate but worth asking them i think
I've been chatting to Derek too for a while now and i hope he can work out a way to continue the smoke.... fingers crossed, he's a very nice chap as you;ll have noticed
they make a kit with external amp etc into which they mount a standard ESU locksound chip with sound files from south western digital
The guys name is Derek, very helpful chap indeed
i am a member of harrow club but live in essex (long story) so i run her wherever i can, this summer i'll probably try canvey, chelmsford or colchester i think
I mean because you have her sooo perfect that you'll be too attached to her to ever sell her on if you were mad enough to ..lol By the way thanks for the info on the gauges, i was in the throws of making my own when i saw yours and thought that there must be some available and would save me some time!! Where on the web did you find the gauge dials mate?
Credit where credit is due, she's a work of art and sounds great, my shell is still unpainted and I'm still working on her chassis, she is a 4 motor version with dynamic brakes but am going to attempt to go into as much detail as possible!!
I must admit I'm quite tempted to go down the Railfreight livery line!!
Yes that would be good to tour at the same track one day!
Here's hoping, good luck if you go for number 2 mate!!
I'm building my Class 37, has split head codes like yours but not decided on age or livery yet as could do deep green with numbered codes. Yours is and sounds gorgeous, very inspirational!!
Hi Mike
Fabulous engine with the sound spot on.
I'd like to ask about the snow ploughs please - have you made them or bought them in, if bought, where from?
Spoke with Derek at Magpie this morning and it doesn't seem likely that the smoke exhaust unit will ever be available again, great pity.
Cheers, Brian

Hi mike,
Can I ask where you got your sound system from? Mine is the park side, it's good but not as 37 accurate as I'd like!
Where do you run her?
Cheers mate

no worries, best advice is to find a photo of a real one you like and model that one, that way you wont fall foul of the "rivet counters"
:-)

Hi
thanks for the compliment, I love the 37s hence i had to get one of these when the chance came up
In repainting and detailing mine I've learned quite a bit about the various versions and liveries so there's plenty of scope for you for sure
I might even get another one in the future and do that one in Transrail scheme
Please let me know when you've finished yours, be nice to see it
you never know we might end up at the same track one day
