  • I'm 24 yrs old with a 10 month old daughter. i was recently diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis after months of seeing different docs who all looked at me like i was nuts. Ever since I had my baby I've practically been crippled, having to scoot down the steps on my bottom and having to walk with a cane. Ive been doing rounds of prednison every few weeks and acupunture once a week. It's helping somewhat. I do not want to end up on those potent drugs this young.

  • As long as all the pills help and keep it under control. Keep on biking

  • Thank you for posting this. My eyes have been opened these past few weeks while suffering from enthesitis in my achillies and calcaneius tendons. i've suffered for 40 years now and i learn new things everyday. the enthesitis is a new thing and the most painful thing i have had to deal with to date. including a full achillies rupture in 2008. i enjoy your posts.

  • I came down with the swelling in my fingers and toes about a year ago. Got mis-diagnosed, told me i had gout. Extreme pain, finally 4 doctors later they figured out i had sorriatic arthritis. Damage done, can no longer play guitar. The shots of humara work well, no pain in fingers, toes or hips. Some funky side effects though- mettalic taste in my mouth and nausea, feel spacy for a day or two after the shot. But it all goes away in a couple days. Definitely worth it to be able to walk again.

  • Thanks for your video. I'm looking up everything I can on Methotrexate as I'm starting low dose treatments for Lupus. Very informative! I wish you well.

  • Recently I read this book Healing psoriasis: The natural alternative by Dr Pagano, and i'm giving his diet a try to see if it can affect my arthritis. I have a friend who has eczema and a similar diet worked for her, in the book it states that eczema and psoriasis have alost the same cause and the diet is almost exactly the same. Been on the diet for 2 months now, but it says it can take a year for any changes in arthritis. Also watched recently an interesting film foodmatters on sprword website

  • I also suffer from psoriatic arthritis. I don't know if you've heard of the medication Etanercept (Enbrel), but thats what i'm on. Without meds I was basically crippled having arthritis in my neck, spine, shoulder, hip and foot. On Enbrel I am now almost 100% back to normal.

In the UK i've heard its hard to get prescibed Enbrel, fortunately I live in France now and they are more lax here about expensive meds. I had a friend who had rheumatoid arthritis and she had to fight to get enbrel in UK.

  • @StevieeePeee I wouldnt take Enbrel due to the possible high risk side effects such as fatal blood disorders, infections, lymphoma and solid tissue cancers, serious liver injury, causing problems of central nervous system, congestive heart failure, nar i think i'll give it a miss, the drugs i take are less harmful and they now have my condition more or less unde control now. Thanks for the comment.

  • This video is more informative than what some doctors would tell you, about condition, medication and side effects. You have obviously spent time gaining knowledge to help you in your battle against it, which hopefully you are controlling as best possible. Thanks again for posting these, even though family member has severe arthiritis i had never heard of this form. best wishes

  • @punkit743 It's the lack of info out there that caused me to make these vidz, it's been an up hill struggle Bro and i found out so many people who suffer from Psoriasis were un aware about the Psoriatic Arthritis side that can strike down those that suffer from Psoriasis, only a very small number will ever get the arthrits side of it. I will also be doing some vids about hospital visits soon. H&R Bro

  • OMG Dibber I can relate to all what you have covered in your 3 psoriasis vids.I did email you,but unless we are friends,it wouldn't send.Anyway a big thank you,I feel this is going to help me a lot.....I wish you well hun....x

  • @Maladay thanks for the comment, this is a very miss understood illness so felt i had to start making these videos, so many people who suffer from psoriasis dont know about the arthritis side of things, i know i didnt although it runs in the family

  • Hello there Bro, thank you for taking the time to come and visit my wife and talk to her about this form of Arthritis, she went straight to the doctors and he confirmed she dose have it. We both send our thanks and you will be welcome up any time you need to get away from town life for a while.

  • @UKIPTURNCOAT Ya more than welcome bro, i had a feeling from what ya told me it was Psoriatic Arthritis, as soon as i saw her nails and fingers i knew what it was. I will pop up and see ya both again soon, the new house is awesome by the way bro.
