  • I am friends with a lady who use to work at planned parenthood and she told me and I quote. "planned parenthood would give you the worst possible birthcontrol in order for you to become pregnant and want them to provide an abortion so they can earn money". Which is extremly sad, so in my oppinon, I am saving sex for marrage and some people might see it at stupid but everyone has an opinion, and so i don't need birth control or anything, and I never will! :)

  • @hannahbelle77 GOOD FOR YOU!!!! THAT MAKES ME VERY HAPPY!!!! NOT HAVING SEX IS THE BEST BIRTH CONTROL!!!

  • you can always use the patch.

  • I know you said you don't want something they stick up "there", but I'd definately recommend Mirena, I got it about 2 months after having my son. It doesn't hurt at all when they put it in (they numb your cervix), you just have cramps for a couple hours. And it lasts for 5 years! soo 10 minutes in stirrups=5 years of protection :)

  • I had my daughter in October and at my check up with my OB she prescribed me Implanon, it is an implant they put in your arm instead of having to take a pill daily. The implant is a progestin based product and does not have any estrogen in it. It lasts for three years and they remove it at that point and you can get another one inserted the same day. I find it to be a lot better than taking the pill and it has been effective for me thus far. Hope that this helps you out in some way.

  • they have a patch you change once a week and you were it three weeks out of the month so you still have a period.

  • thanks for sharing your opinion! maybe the bc pill, a male condom and female condom...

  • Breastfeeding does not work as birth control!!! Even in the first 6 months. My 2nd baby was conceived when I was b/feeding my 11 1/2 month daughter, and I hadn't had my periods back. After my 2nd baby even though I was exclusively b/feeding my super hungry baby, my periods came back within weeks.

  • @sweetmuse83 Well it worked for my mom with all 4 of her kids and it worked for me but like all other birth control sometimes it doesnt work.

  • @mommy062010 you're right, it can work and did for my mum too, but the thing is you can't know if it's going to work for you so I would never depend on it.

  • I recommend alesse or aviane, they are a combination pill, they treat acne as well as regulate your period.

  • @Deseonfire what's the difference between a combination pill and a regular pill???

  • @Deseonfire ill look into that! thank you!

  • This vlog SUCKS. Wheres the BC info? You dont talk about the types of BC or the effectiveness. Didnt u research b4 u made this video? Ur basically just talking about how BC failed u, n how u dont think ppl should rely on it, THEN u tell every1 ur not on BC now after u already have a baby! What a good influence u r for young girls/moms!U should be encouraging BC use, giving INFO and setting an example! Do sum research, an redo this video plz theres so much more u couldve said!

  • The pill is not for everyone. I'm sure that if she was having sex she would be using some form of contraceptive.

  • @NovemberRainLove Theres plenty other BC's out there not just the pill,This video was titled BIRTH CONTROL, so I figured it should have been at least some what informative. And NOT preventing pregnancy after an accidental pregnancy already happend is irresponsible, and to "scare" urself into not enjoying sex anymore is SAD. Also the pill isnt 100%, but if used right its damn near close.BC failure is almost ALWAYS due HUMAN error, ask any dr. This videos crap how would this help a teen/young mom?

  • @mommyluvskenna It's not her job to inform others about birth control. If you watch the first video of this "series", she said everyone would be giving their opinions or talking about their experiences with the topic. She never said she would be giving out free statistics and information. She is not a doctor, and if you would like information on birth control, there is plenty on information on Google.

  • @NIleylove108 Thank you :)

  • planned parenthood's free birth control is the generic form of popular birth controls.. so it works the exact same, it's just not name brand.

  • @whoaariel I went to a clinic, it wasnt Planned Parenthood but it was a place like it, and they actually gave name brand BC pills..but even if it is generic, they still work I have been on a generic pill for almost 4 years they all work the same..it's not like Planned Parenthood has their own special brand of pills that arent as effective lol.

  • @whoaariel ya i was saying i dont think that makes a difference.

  • i am so surprised to find out that you were using a condom and on the pill. i am also so thankful that you told me that. i've been taught that if you use both, they will almost always prevent pregnancy. i will definitely keep that in mind when the time is right for me. seriously, thank you so much for sharing.
