jim carey is funny but only in a stupid way and thats all its really ever been for the most part. honestly his best times were "In Living Color" and "Ace Ventura", "dumb and dumber" was ok as well. Thats the perfect example of funny type of stupid. Everything else he just goes over the top on and it gets to a point where he is trying too hard and therefore appears childlike and down right embarassing at times. He would have been better at more serious roles, shame he didnt make more dramas.
