  • wasn't D to A 9 inches..thats what u did in part 1

  • you're a great teacher, this so simple the way you explain it, thanks so much for uploading. You are totally awesome!

  • Fantastic tutorial, very clear explanation. Thank you muchhhhh!

  • This is just an overview on creating a skirt pattern...Tutorials on hems, zippers, etc are on separate videos. Hope this helps :)

  • dont think u specified where the skirt sat on the body. If it sits below the waist line lowering the waistline will make the skirt bigger so ease will be needed. also is there a zipper? zippers must open 16 to 18cm from the true waist. so for youre skirt id probably put a 14cm length zipper. Balance points should also be put on the skirt for the machinist - one at hip level and then marking out seam allowance etc. is there going to be any facing? hems?

  • THANK U FOR TAKING THE TIME TO SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE. GOOD JOB. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. MAY GOD BLESS U

  • F to D= 9 inches.--- this is the total waistline measurement which also includes the 2" dart intake.

For the first dart- go over 3" from D and place a notch and follow the remainder of the instructions on the video.

  • sorry it doesnt make sense. with the waist measurement-if you add 7 + 2 =9 inches-then the marks would be on the 9 inch mark, please explain.

  • @jibobit this is what is was thinking

  • Working on it-should have something up soon ;)

  • Thank you for these videos. Please keep 'em comin'. Can you please upload bodice pattern drafting as well?
