@TheAZ126: Launch basically is just forgotten about, all we know is that she lives with Tien. You do see her at the end of DBZ when Goku is gathering energy for the spirit bomb against buu but you see a few forgotten characters then like Upa so does that even count lmao?

What I don't get is why Toei disregarded the fact that she wasn't in Kai and still put her in the ending, as if all the new fans were supposed to know who she was by default lol

Mr. Popo is a genie who trained Goku to fight Piccolo Jr. in the original DragonBall alongside Kami. (Piccolo Jr is the Piccolo you know from Kai, he was once evil.) @ihas700fingerz it's more than that. they changed a bunch of lines and cut out a lot of filler episodes to make it similar to the manga plotline, they changed all of the soundtracks and the quality is way better than remastered. they changed some colour effects and if you watch the gohan vs cell fight u'll know what i mean.

I love this ending so much more than the second ending. It's so much more nostalgic, especially during the early episodes where many of these events haven't happened yet.

I haven't watched Dragonball since 2003 where they finished dubbing the series, so coming back six years later was amazing. Seeing this ending just brought me back straight to my childhood.

Kai is the best rendition. It's true to the manga and remastered with the same voice actors... With the exception of the thrown together dubs. I'd rather watch the origional creation, as it was intended. Just like I wouldn't watch the 90's DC Universe cartoons in anything but English.
