Why are protests usually peaceful until the fucking police comes in and starts beating the shit out of everyone? Then it escalates into a riot and many people get injured. Maybe if instead of throwing out their cops, they try and settle things...

The police have allowed themselves to be politicised.

When you get the police marching onto maternity wards with social workers and taking new born infants away from first time mothers who could not possibly have done any harm to their child - the social services are stealing these babies and selling them - it's not surprising people are losing all respect for the authorities.

stockwell was a different incident, the intelligence was the problem and not the officers, its very well to leave a statement such as "no cop found guilty over shooting an innocent man" but they thought he was a suicide bomber, and imagine that outcry if he was one, or not , but he managed to get away.

Armed police are a necessary evil when it comes to cases such as that, the intelligence is what sentenced that poor bloke to death not the officer.

It seems that Ian Tomlinson was only passing through the edge of the protest on his way home. There is now video here of him being attacked by police shortly before his death, as well as eye witness statements from two of the protesters who went to his aid when he collapsed.

Rioting doesn't work, you can't achieve enlightment over smashing windows, and chucking bottles at cops, it will just impose tighter restrictions and cause more hate, try to educate them instead about their superiours.

These people who are really in control i am not talking about the police or puppet politicians, but the ones right at the top must get some massive hard on when they see protesters being violent
