If this truly was about increased competition and lowering costs they would enforce the "commerce clause" correctly, for a change, and allow insurance companies to offer coverage regardless of what State the consumer and the insurer are located. Then there's tort reform. No serious healthcare reform can take place with the inclusion of tort reform. But then, this isn't about competition or lowering costs.

I thought this healthcare debate was about increasing competition and lowering prices... well that is what its about. The trick is to keep people organized. The Swiss have a very organized citizen militia for self-defense. These citizens also meet regularly to discuss political subjects and even vote on local issues. For the conservatives in American to be successful they need to realize that the fight for liberty is on going and vigilance must be constant.
