yep, being a Janto shipper (and the fact that Yan is my favourite character) i can't stand Gwen. I know she loves Jack- but she wouldn't leave rhys. and Jack may be attracted to Gwen but i think he sees her more as his heart whereas yan really understands Jack.

Ianto has the best lines though!

If you go to the BBC Torchwood site and read the Captain's journal there are little tidbits from Jack about Ianto that show he really cares for him. RTD wrote that stuff in. <3

I'm anti Gwen/Jack too. He sees her as his humanity I think. But it's Ianto he cares for.

I know what you meant and I whole-heartedly agree. They squander him in favor of Gwen (but I'll keep my Gwen hate to myself). I was just saying that the fanfiction writers sometimes write Torchwood better than the writers of Torchwood, in my humble opinion.
