Scarlet, I give you an advice, you could try this without hurting yourself. Anchor the legs opposite the edge where you plan to stand. You may not take this into consideration because you may damage the legs or damage the floor when applying the anchors. Another suggestion would be that of applying counterweight to the opposite side the edge where you stand up, so you will be able to maintain the center of gravity near the center of the table, therefore you will not fall.
