nice JT, I have a 200D and my son has a 220CS, they are great guitars for the price, we also have a JT-50 which is an SG copy, all 3 sound great...when it comes to low end guitars I prefer Jay Turser, they beat the cheap side of Dean and the super cheap bolt on epiphone of the same style. better wood, decent pickups.

Their web site says 100% satisfaction guarnatee, but no way, they called him a liar saying that the guitar is real. Avoid the scams, and never buy from this place. I'm letting everyone know so you don't get scammed. Avoid Maka Ivy Internaional.

Every Les Paul has its uniqueness. A cheapo will sound totally different than a Gibby. However, if you try to use a Gibby to imitate a cheapo sound, you can never achieve. Its just an alternative to buy a Jay Turser. Nothing is right or wrong.
The ONLY way of distinguishing a Fake from a Real Gibson, is that the Fake actually sounds and plays much better, with far better build quality, sustain and use of choice woods, specially Japanese, like Yamaha, Burny and Greco.

I just played one of these Jay Turser LP's at the store about an hour ago. I would put them along the Epiphone range, but cheaper. Very nice sound, nice action and neck. A couple fit/finish issues but thats it. To compare it to a Gibson like the previous poster did is a bit much, but its a very nice guitar for the money. Wish I could have had one of these decades ago when I started playing. Budget electrics back then were true crap.
i wonder if those jay turser's are made in factories as thse chinese 'gibson's; i got a jay turser LPC copy that detail-wise is very similar to these chinese 'gibsons' (just working off of video/pics online, since i don't see any around here)

I've already make myself clear, its a cheap ass les paul style guitar, and it doesn't have a GIBSON on the headstock. Understand? I got it cheap and it doesn't suck for that price. I'm not promoting, I'm saying I got an alternative because I cant afford an authentic Gibson LP Standard. I do have a Gibson LP Baldwin and I can tell the difference. Please understand.

WTF, Slash played a fake gibson, and it was his go to guitar. Even though he had many other guitars, his fake gibby was the one he loved the most. So go fuck off , it's about the music and price and having fun with your peers at a great price.

So I am trying to understand this post. Are you trying to say that Counterfeit Chinese Knock Offs are as good as a original Les Paul? Not only is purchasing a counterfeit guitar illegal, your bold enough to post it on youtube. You need to be specfic, Epi is a lower end Gibson, counterfeit is illegal and unlike the Epi's and Gibson's will land you time in jail and a criminal record. They are made of low quality everything.

It doesn't said any Epiphone or Gibson on the headstock. Besides, the shape is not entirely alike Les Paul measurement. Why are you guys so disappointed about? Its just a knockoff Les Paul selling at cheap price, and I find it reasonable in terms of quality.

Just bought 2 guitars from Payless before they went down. An Ibanez Prestige and a Gibson 55 Goldtop w/ 2 P90s and a Tune-A-Matic. These are great guitars. I just got a set of Grover 106C 18:1 Locking tuners for the goldtop. I want more. Does anyone know of other sites fron China that are still up besides Guitars of China?

Yup. It sounded pretty cool. Obviously no fight with original Gibsons, but... for that price! WELL WORTH THE MONEY! Its a great risk to direct import China made guitar though. If something goes wrong, there goes your money. Shipping fee alone cost you a bomb!
