At least you can still post on their facebook page! I bought a x9i from them- delivered 20december. Has never worked and always waiting on more parts to try. They have blocked me from writing on their wall and deleted my posts, including stuff I wrote on other people's comments. Incredible! $2500!
This is an older model. The new models addressed and fixed the knock problem. Though, we are not impressed with the assembly of this machine. It takes an electric drill or screw driver to ut it together, not the typical manual one they show in the directions. The tapped screw holes are not the easiest to navigate either. Minus the power incline, it is a really nice spce saver model and easy to use. Make sure to purchase the 5 year warranty though if you do select this model.
If you haven't fixed this yet. Mine was making the same noise. I fixed it by tightening the 2 through bolts that hold the foot pad to the body of the machine. If they are not very tight the round tube will move back and forth with every stride.
