  • I crack up every time I see this... I'm glad you recorded it and uploaded to YouTube... Thank you lol

  • (SHIT) happens

  • Get real. As everyone can plainly see, you made this same lame complaint last year! Give it a rest. You got shot down then too because no one agreed with you. You also lied. That dumb phrase you Googled hit just ONCE - and it was here - only because YOU bitched so much last time! Such a transparent lie doesn't help you. I don't suppose you're ever capable of just wrapping your little brain around the fact that this ad gets a lot of airplay for one reason:

    IT IS FUNNY!!!

    Geez! Some people!!

  • Mickey Maouse, you still here? After you swore you'd leave? Eh... just more lies...

    Run Forrest! Run!!

  • Operasanger Management. :) Froth on.

  • Ah, my work here is done....and scene...

  • Ah yes, you've done all you possibly could here to prove yourself to be a perfect fool. Good for you! Be proud of the perfection of your ignominy.

Now, as you exit stage right, returning to the oblivion from whence you came, there is scant left to say, but...

    Buh bye.

  • Ok, operasanger, where have you hidden your meds this time?

  • Predictably asinine response there, srednivashtar. So... when you cannot intelligently respond on the merits, all you have left is the grade school childishness? HA! Figures.

You continue to expose and embarrass yourself even more with every post.

  • Subliminal? Not even. It's blatant. C'mon, these ad men thought they pulled a funny with this one, and the other black head talking about her water breaking in the gro'cy store. OK, they did it with a white face too, but even then, the rebus is a crass way to promote a product. Shame on Blue Shield.

  • @srednivashtar You see what you want to see. The reality is there are 6 ads running in this group. Check the blueshield website. A male/female Asian, male/female African-American, and a male/female Caucasian. The hypocrisy is that you'd be whining if African-Americans WEREN'T represented! In the original run of these as I recall, there were about 10 ads. Again, only 2 were African-American. So do your homework before you destroy your credibility by crying "racist" wolf without knowing the facts.

  • @operasanger I'm not sure what country you live in, or how you can presume to know what I'd think if there were no black people in the series. But this I know: I never used the word "racist" and my intent was to decry the basic crassness of the series: Pandering to the smutty humor to promote an arguably respectable product. YOU do your homework, read some history, and learn how to read.

  • @srednivashtar Sadly, your ignorance is only exceeded by you arrogance. Plus your sadly transparent hypersensitivity is still on display. Your gripe was ultimately based upon your "theory" that there is a racist component to this ad campaign. No need to say the "r" word, the intent was clear. Otherwise why reference the "other black head talking"? As for "smutty" humor? Well, "she that smelt it - most likely dealt it." I see "stuff" or "life" "happens". What you see? Is really just YOUR problem.

  • @operasanger's comment is emblematic of the social myopia rampant these days. I never used the "r" word. But he/she uses it...and it's sad, because clearly he doesn't know what the word means.

  • @srednivashtar Two comments? Myopia? You really are horribly thin-skinned and defensive when exposed, aren't you? See, I don't need to ask inane questions about what country YOU live in and I truly don't care what you think. IF you think. I merely responded to your post - in all of it's pathetic, incoherent and ridiculous glory. Where is your rebuttal to the fact that these spots are multi-ethnic? Any fault with this ad resides only within the recesses that pass for your sad, narrow litle mind.

  • @srednivashtar Just saw the ad playing during X Factor last night. I then googled "blue shield commercial shit happens racist" and was referred here. Yes, I'm sure they shot similar ads with people of all colors but I'm guessing this one gets the most air play because it's obviously getting people talking, right?

  • I love this commercial too!!!!!

  • this should'nt even be allowed on tv.this type of advertisment is becomming the norm--sh## happens--BS on bill boards.gutter minds are running rampid anymore.

  • This is racist commercial, subliminally insulting. We know the phrase 'shit happens' and placing any minority in this ad is programming us to think minorities are shit. It should be banned and blue shield reprimanded.

  • @antoinettemedina Oh please! It's okay to laugh...your face won't break.

  • Fuckin' fuuuuunnnyyyy!!!

  • XD love this one, haven't seen it in Minnesota yet.

  • Omg I accidentally flagged this =-O sorry if it gets tookndown but I luv this commercial

  • lol too funny :)

  • There's a black guy's face representing the word 'shit' in the phrase 'shit happens'. I freaked out when I saw this commercial. It's most likely not intentional but I can't believe they overlooked the racist implications when they released this

  • totally agree. that was my reaction too!

  • @syphonfilter23 I had the same reaction.

  • @cljohnston108 Oh great... another idiot.

  • "..which would be great if I were 7. I'm 46." HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That line itself makes me crack up every time. God, the actor that did this made every single line funny...great commercial and they found a gem of an actor to get it right. Does anyone know who he is??

  • I know that they didnt mean "shit happens", and of his skin color, but just thinkin of that is hilarious....haha

  • Yah, that's what I first thought when I saw this lol

  • SKIN COLOR? WHAT?

  • HAHAH, thank you for uploading this, you're the only one who has it.

  • krazyfrito you're an idiot.

  • I agree dumbest mother fucker ever. Some people were not made with a shut the FUCK UP button.

  • Both missing a tooth and the phrase "shit happens" are totally irrelevant to his skin color. There is no meaning behind the commercial. It is advertisement for health insurance, which happens to be funny because he is 46 and missing a tooth. It's really that simple.

  • Could you possibly be a bigger racist dumbass yourself?

    Doubtful.

  • I LOVE THIS COMMERCIAL!

  • me to lol
