Used to live there 25 years ago. Back then, they closed the river after 10,000 people which usually happened by 9AM on Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. People made rafts out of tubes and put massive stereo systems on them, blasting tunes all the way down. I miss it.

I had so much fun last year! I went tubing down the salt river and it was the best 4-5 hours of my life! :D we all had a marshmallow fight ... but it got kind of gross later on :P lol.. I love Arizona <3 great vid.

@chandler907 Your post is a year old so I'm sure you've figured it out. Like anything in life people make of it what they want to. I went on a Friday Morning and it was chill and family friendly. I would not take the kids there on a weekend tho? That's just a guess.

@goody82az Hey yeah I went it was really fun. The water was cool, clear, and very clean didnt see any trash like people said. Our group was by there self the whole time so we didnt have to worry about other tubers coming by us. there was also about 14 wild horser crossing the water ! beautiful!
