Her difficulty was purposely marked down to 8.775 (look at her D-score at AA and compare to this one), when she completed ALL the difficulties. The judges probably gave Anya a lower score because Garayeva is also a Viner girl although she's an Azeri

Bessonova had a beautiful body type for rhythmic--flexible but strong, and not so thin it hurts to look at her. Her musicality was great, wonderful choreography, and she had very good form. Why she was never a World or Olympic All-Around Champion is completely beyond me.

Anna is so sweet she is one of my favourite gymnasts I like her nice she is to the crowd and her fans. My other favourite is Evgenia Kanaeva ahaha of course actually I think for MIE ball'09 Evgenia did better like for her execution because she had that graceful flow of things. And Evgenia is unbeatable at pirouettes. But Anya is the Queen of leaps, no doubt.

mmmm sencillamente hermosa a unque el error de bessanova radica en que la flexibilidad es lo que mas se califica en las rutinas de pelota y en verdad tienen una rutina hermosa el mov. de la pelota de mano a punta de pie es increible cosa que no hace kanaeva si en pelota kanaeva explota su don de flexibilidad pero no merecia una nota tan hinchada y bessanova merecia la plata esa ya tenia su nombre pero han visto las rutinas de simona pecheva son iguales de dificiles y nunca le dieron notas altas

I love this routine but her difficulty values are not so high as Kanaeva and here the predominant elements are flexibility and waves... no matter how much great is bessonova in pivots... if her flexibilty and waves elements are not better than those of kanaeva... still i think she was underscored... and the one who says bessonova sucks in her pivots is very very wrong... bessonova is one of the best in pivots and leaps

As they see she is not so perfect. Not that I have anything against Bessonova up because I think she is an excellent gymnast, but many people say that Bessonova is better than Kanaeva and this is not true.

Bessonova was the silver and Garaeva the bronze.. But the Ukraine federation asked for a reevaluation of the ball exercise and the judges lower the score (Garaeva score was 27.325) from 27.475 to 27.250, so Anya win the bronze medal and Garaeva the silver medal

definately... it was made in purpose to make Garaeva silver (she was training in Novogarsk) and if judges would make her score lover than 27.225 she would be 4th because of Dimitrieva (russian)

I think the judges were sick and tired of Ukraine federation complaining about Anya scores, so I think they revenge and lower the score. I really don't know I the hell they asked for reevaluation, Kanaeva would still win and Bessonova received a higher score that in qualifications
