  • Less Government, More Future

in blog "O cão que fuma"

  • Leftists quote the myth of the success of Scandinavian socialism to justify the terror that they impose. If one drunk driver consistently made it home safely would that be some sort of empirical argument? In reality socialism has led to vast terrors across the globe in most places it has been tried. People on the left are liars and will look for any apparent 'fact' to justify their tyranny.

As far as this video I suggest that natural rights are a better justification of small government...

  • When politicians stop taking salaries, that's when I may agree. The function of government laying the groundwork for a better society is not even being accomplished, what with politicans being nothing more than grifters. When this Republic was established, it's leaders volunteered their services and were NOT PAID. These leaders were financially comfortable, for the most part, and volunteered their time and efforts to get the new nation established. Not so the bums we have today

  • great video

  • I used to be a "Christian Conservative". I read the books, William F. Buckley, William Simon and I drank deeply of the Kool-Aid. I hope the book itself is more compelling than the video promoting it. I did not find any explanation in the video, just assertions. Since the Reagan revolution, We have moved continually toward the right. And it seems we have been in continual economic and social decline. Nations with small government are like Somalia. Big governments like Sweden. The Dog don't hunt.

  • @denisoaksford Big governments like China. You forgot that one. And this government has been moving to the left, under the guise of conservatism and progressivism. Neoconservatism preaches to conservatives while increasing big government. Progressive socialist do the same with their rhetoric. Both sides lie to their supposed constituencies. This whole system is a sham and has been for 100 years. Both political parties want to own you in almost every way. To them we are cattle to be exploited.

  • The problem is the irresponsible speculation allowed by a Congress bought by Financial interests. You do not address the actual problem. The problem is two-party corruption. You are somewhat correct in what you say, but you totally ignore the basis of our financial problems.

I hope no one is misguided by your book. Identify the real problem and write about it. You missed the target. In basketball terms you shot an air ball. No points for you.

  • Thanks for spamming me with an email of your commercial. The production is as second-rate as the ideas are boilerplate.

God knows, universal health care and a more progressive tax policy are ee-vil. Just look at those fascist Scandinavians and their high standard of living.

    Sheesh.

  • Lucky for us the people of the United States are educated about the socio-political liberal-economic history, philosophy and epistomology of heir origins, principles and founding authors; moreover, the personalities involved: Founding Fathers were men of their time with a vision more powerful than their wisdom to foresee the power of competition, inclusion and equal access on a Country and Global level. America is great > it values balance of indiv. rights vs gen welfare & Big Gov protection.

  • I quite like America's policies, for itself, not the policies for the rest of the world. Fair trade just doesn't sit well with American's, they don't have any advantage, are proven to be grossly inefficient, and hate competition. When America wants to join the countries in the world that don't have oppressive economies, I'm sure they'll experience overall growth and financial benefit. except in their inefficient industries like steel and sheep meat production, where they just can't compete.

  • America can only work if it implements a left wing understanding human being not things and materialistic rubbish

  • You stupid berk you move it more right and it becomes a capitalist dictatorship hence theis globalisation fiaso

  • I cannot imagine why you emailed this to me, given that, not only am I not only not American, but also I totally oppose your extreme right-wing claptrap. By the way, "The world's leading power for the next millennium" sounds ominously like "The thousand year Reich."

  • If everyone cared...

  • I like this. I agree that big government is bad. However we should not forget that our biggest debtor is NOT China but our own US Federal Reserve (a semi-public corporation). Can the FED shut our country down at the time of their choosing or is that impossible?

  • "Less government" is just a republican code-word for less regulations on banks and corporations, which is why we're in the mess we're in.

  • Completely RETRO. This is not freedom.... free your language first....even discussing "Left" and "Right" at this point is MOOT. I also dislike BIG government and Federal Code, but you want to strengthen the corporate dictatorship even more so by eliminating the few controls that are keeping the masses from total perdition, at this point. Please, let's stop looking in yesterday's garbage can for tonight's dinner.

  • @Monjita77 I couldn't have said it better myself.

  • This is just another Teabag Party anti-Obama video disguised as a serious solution to the problems George W Bush caused in America. I have no idea why you people haven't put Bush in prision yet. He completely destroyed America both financially and spiritually, And on top of that, he is suspected of being a war criminal. More business, and bigger business leads to greed. It guarantees that the rich become richer and the poor become poorer. That's how America fell to ruin in the first place.

  • @TheNewfieBastard You don't have to be a tea party supporter ( I'm NOT) to be anti-obama, you only have to judge his actions by comparison to his words. Funny how you attack Bush for his pro-business and war-mongering policies(well deserved), but praise Obama when he's just as guilty by appointing Wall Street bankers to his cabinet and expanding the undeclared wars in Iraq, Afganistan, Lybia, Syria and with his signing of the NDAA, on the streets of America.

  • @remodelmaui You can't name one politician whose words were always reflected in their actions so why try coloring Obama any differently? Obama came upon the scene of Bush's war and as much as I think America should just allow the feuding countires to blow themselves up instead of sending help, that's just the way things are - and Obama didn't make it that way either. Right now, he is America's ONLY hope. AND....if you support the Republicans you support the Teatards. There's no escaping that.

  • Screw big government. I want dirty water and unsafe food. I would really like all the gun toting rednecks to control the neighborhoods.

  • @theotherone58 NO! We need government to make our water safe by adding sodium flouride, we need government to keep our food safe with RGBH, GMO's, and protection from organic foods and raw milk...And most importantly...we need a militarized police force to pepper spray those rowdy student protestors, patrol our streets with military grade weapons, and constant spying to keep safe from...OH MY GOD, terrorists!

  • @remodelmaui We choose where we live. Life is not perfect. If you dislike America that much you have the choice to leave it. Trust me, there are plenty of people who would love to live here.

  • Yes, "Economic Freedom".

Stop immediately the international compulsion to trade oil in US$ .

Stop the conspiracy between USA and their OPEC leading patsie Saudi Arabia manipulating oil trade by insisting none can trade lest they bear the mark of the US$.

Oh No!!!... That's not the type of "economic freedom" you were thinking of, is it Bill Cima?

Heaven forbid USA should prop up it's own currency without reliance on global "social welfare".

  • your good

  • I don't want to be a power, I want to be an equal with my brothers and sisters and live in a world where love, peace and joy rule. Let me know when you finish writing that book, no wait....I'm sorry but it's already been written....the authors name is God.

  • @Astrafire1 and God charged us to forth and create benefit for ourselves and others.

We have to be solid before we can share with others

  • Yawn. . .

Look, if you have something to say, go ahead and say it. Instead, you spam everyone with a weak 'teaser' video to promote your book. That's not what YouTube's supposed to be about.

  • Less ideology and more specifics. There is more to the picture. In the US, the Federal government has in fact overstepped its bounds. But that doesn't mean states should turn education over to the private sector and leave poor children out of the equation, for example. That won't make America competitive. Truth lies between extremes. This guy is blaming Obama for a crash that has everything to do with America's monetary system. A monetary system controlled by private players, NOT gov't. Hmm...

  • @Wheels4229 The private players are the government at this point in the erosion of the definition of what the US government is supposed to be.

In line with that I don't agree that turning education away from the same corrupt government though is a bad idea. Government supervised education is a often used to teach its agenda to a nation's youth and so is not a body to be trusted with that responsibility. So many people now think empowering the gvt is the only answer. That is our modern liability.

  • you're cliche, espousing platitudes and truisms that change nothing.

  • It was once said 'Big government isn't the problem, it's bad governmnet that is the problem" The people are a nation and when those people that made the nation great are no longer promoted or have their and only their intrest in mind, the nation is doomed. America is rotten to the core, out of the millions of bills, laws, signing statements and what have you has their every been anything that was what the people wanted? The quicker is breaks up the better.

  • And by the way, let's think about what rights are for a minute since everyone loves to use the term. Rights are defined by your humanity. Your right to speak, to live, to not be hindered to travel, basically your right to pursue your life and happiness so long as it doesn't hinder other people's "rights".

What rights are not are the right to "things", like other people's property, or their services and time. Those are tangible goods. They are not rights.

  • I thought it was the freedom given to the "Free markets" that allowed the banks to run free and create the mess we are in? This would suggest that we need more government control and legislation to prevent another major money abuse. How does that fit in with your less Government ideal?

  • @trybeinganihilist We haven't had a free market for almost 100 years in the US. When people tell you our problems are because of the free market, they're spinning. It's a half truth. The fact is we have a modified free market, which is to say it's not free.

To all of you who have well intentioned ideas like criticizing free markets, consume less information from mainstream media, or gather it from multiple sources. The global economic issues are NOT partisan like mainstream media is often is.

  • @StuggleIsNatural I think you are right, it is more of an illusion of free trade and free markets. Probably a lot to do with the "Iron Triangle" of the Military Industrial Complex which does control a lot of flow of big money.

  • @trybeinganihilist Exactly. It's terrible! We keep going to wars invading everyone in our sight, paying the MIC taxes and IOU's which we can't pay back. Then you get the propaganda that we're not taxed enough. What's been happening is a massive heist of crony wealth at the hands of government. Another huge problem is the federal reserve. It prints currency and puts it in the pockets of its friends and also manipulates the economy. Then you hear propaganda about free markets failing. It's brutal!

  • @StuggleIsNatural To add, if you think the failing US and european economies are because of republicans or democrats, you're likely the one holding the bill.

  • CAN SOMEONE PLZ DEFINE BIG GOVERMENT FOR ME. PEOPLE SEEM TO HAVE A BLIND IDEOLOGY THAT EVERYTHING THAT COMES OUT OF THE GOVERNMENT IS HARMFUL.

  • @Acclamatar For me a big government which is to say too big of a government is one that allows the people in it to not follow the country's own laws, one at a time weakening their foundation, and those same people no longer confine themselves to protecting our basic rights but prefer to increase their power, wealth and those of their business cronies.

  • Another 1% welfare queen who wants handouts from the government officials THEY buy.

  • "Less Government, More Future"

    .

    Are you kidding? What future?

    .

    billgaede.hubpages com/hub/We-are-the-last-generation-of-humans

  • yeah good luck with that then.it will be a walk in the park getting rid of them pesky private banks.

  • Thanks,. Looking forward to reading the book.

  • "Progress, far from consisting in change, depends on retentiveness. When change is absolute there remains no being to improve and no direction is set for possible improvement: and when experience is not retained, as among savages, infancy is perpetual. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

--George Santayana, The Life of Reason (1905-1906) Thanks for sending the video.

  • All arbitration bodies, which is all a govt. needs to be for most people, need a system of guaranteed dissolution for the good of every thinking, rational individual. There's no single function of our present government that is justified for an eternity. It's that simple really.

    A.G.

  • He forgot about the Soviet Union Empire

  • The people among us who want more government to control the inequities of life, not to be rude, are dreaming that those people in government are any different than anyone else. People are corruptible, and a nation's government is the most powerful corporation and monopoly of all!

Guys, there are no utopias. It's a nice dream, but it's not achievable, especially at the hands of a powerful (corrupt) central planner. We're being lead to slaughter to governments in bed with business.

  • @StuggleIsNatural First off, utopia may be impossible, but that doesn't mean you stop trying. Second off, the difference between a corporation and a government is that when the government screws you over, you can vote them out.

You don't want government to control the "inequities" of life. Fine. Don't bother calling the cops when you're robbed.

  • @Shanbo26 So you think a social democracy free of the concerns of greedy private business would solve these problems. Why didn't someone think of that sooner?

Humanity's cyclical march toward tyranny does not happen because of private business, it happens at the hand of their government.

  • @StuggleIsNatural It happens because of certain individuals momentary claim of great powers.

Capitalism is not a perfect system. It was never ment to be.

It just happens to work a whole lot better than state socialism and still leaves people free to pursuit communism if they want to do so.

  • @ToxinalX "It" happens after a country becomes financially successful and then doesn't adhere to its own confines designed to limit corruption. Collectivists and cancer have something in interesting common, they're both "progressive".

  • @StuggleIsNatural Yes, well what I was refering to was monopolisation of power in general. Capitalism and Classical Liberalism is better in this sense, since it is not static in the way that collectivist statism.

  • @StuggleIsNatural We did think of it, but those benefitting from the status quo fight it tooth and nail.

And I hate to burst your bubble, but history shows that the march to tyranny often happens because of private business. Without the support of Germany's business leaders, Hitler would never have been more than a yappy painter. It was the slave industry which brought about the American Civil War, and Dow Chemical which helped overthrow the government of Guatemala.

  • @Shanbo26 You're not bursting my bubble at all. You're basing an argument for government to be confined. Corporatism is what we're complaining about, not capitalism. Corporatism is when business influences a government powerful enough to sway law. We can't escape the need for limited resources and the competition for it. It's not how physics works. The living need to get on with a competitive life free of the corruption of government picking and choosing favor from businesses it gets elected by.

  • @StuggleIsNatural No, I'm basing an argument for private industry to be confined. And government is the only entity powerful enough to do that.

"The need for limited resources"? WTF is that? And yes, we can indeed escape competition. In fact, we did, which is why we're still not living in caves.

"Competitve life". Yeah, that sounds sooooo inviting. Just out of curiousity, what happens to the losers in this "competition"? And what keeps the winners from cheating?

  • @StuggleIsNatural Oh, by the way moron, pick up a dictionary sometime and look up "tyranny". Iraq, North Korea, the Sudan...THOSE are tyrannies. Norway, Sweden, Germany, Canada..THOSE aren't.

  • @Shanbo26 "closeminded craptalk" You're so closeminded, you can't help devolve into namecalling during a reasonable debate, and asking questions that have an answer, but pretending there are but one answer - which is why you're close minded. I'm sorry for you and other people who can't imagine a life without evil employers, but moreover, I'm sorry for the type of government you'd prop up to watch over your rights. But I thank you for reminding me that I need to beware for myself and my family.

  • @StuggleIsNatural Oh yeah, and calling any country with a functioning government a "tyranny" is sooooooooo rational. I suppose calling the kettle black keeps you from actually addressing any of the points or answering any of the questions.

  • @Shanbo26 You're facing an uphill battle, because you're just a deaf, windy blowhard. I'm sorry about your bad fortune with that.

  • @StuggleIsNatural Reduced to ranting incoherently already?

  • @Shanbo26 Yes! I am! You're so relevant!

  • To follow, when checks and balances between competing entities are elimited through a central controller, the central controller becomes a tyrant. That is the tyranny I'm talking about. A central government is just a big monopolistic business, by any other name: mafia, monarchy, tyranny, cartel. It's the worse of two evils because it carries the threat of unbridled violence and theft with it. This is why I'm so against growth of central authority, and am for constitutionally bound competition.

  • @StuggleIsNatural Yeah, right. And most of the time, it's such a horrific "tyrant". Meanwhile, if the checks and balances AREN'T "elimited" through a central controller, they're too weak to keep the corporate entities in check and they run wild. Hence, the financial crisis.

So, the choice is some "tyranny" under which we live during our most economically successful periods, or working as wage-slaves for the 1% because we don't dare quit our jobs because of the economy. Hmmm, let me see...

  • If anyone else disagrees with this you may wish to check out the GoweExile channel

  • @GoweExile

To be clear if anyone disagree's with the 'Less Government More Future' I urge them to check out the GoweExile channel

  • Assuming this guy is for real. I have a few questions

As an American has he forgotten the 'New Deal'?

Does he really believe that allowing the financially privileged free licence to exploit the rest of us is a basis for prosperity?

Why does he not believe that the problem is not the size of government, but the fact that it not only fails to represent the best interests of it's population, and is unaccountable to them?

  • Chinas take over is from us giving them the work, less govt would enable corporations more freedom to send jobs over seas. we need a stronger govt willing to foccus on the problems here at home rather than worrying so much about the rest of the world.

  • why was there an american flag across the entire world?

when will people wake up to the logic that:

what Did Not work yesterday Will Not work tomorrow...?

  • Freedom from any kind of domination!

Another world is possible; beyond capitalism & patriarchy. Free of classes, oppression, greed for profit, and imperialist wars!

Occupy the factories; production under the control of the organised workers, neighbourhood councils, free education for all, and LAICISM without compromise. Stop stupidity!

Full political participation = DIRECT instead of "representative" DEMOCRACY!

"The history of all hitherto existing societies is the history of class struggles."

  • "If you know how to spend less than you get, you have the philosopher's stone."

    Benjamin Franklin

  • @earningathome Well, looks like Clinton had the philosopher's stone then, didn't he?

Too bad Bush threw it away. You rightards sure didn't have a problem with huge deficits back then.

  • The fact is this has nothing to do with a right or left issue. Our Government is run by big money and corporations, which has only greed and profit as an agenda. We have a need for government and regulation, but both need to be in the hands of and for the people for the good of all not for the good of greed and profit.

  • America was and still remains a Republic. Only since 1913 and the formation of the federal reserve has America acted in the manner of a democracy. America free of the federal reserve would be the beacon it had the potential to be, and would indeed be a nation above all others to lead the world by example.

America today suffers what Europe has suffered for millenia, the Luciferians have taken the reigns of power and make you act contrary to all sanity.

We all lose if they attack Iran

  • Who the hell would want America to be a Super power and rein supreme, for GODS sake come on! America (the Government and Politicians, not the everyday citizens) is the local shit kid bully that terrorizes it's neighbors and starts all the fights. America needs to be purged of all it's corrupt politicians & Government. The people are the best representatives for the people, not Politicians or wealthy business men! Take the money out of Politics and watch the right decisions be made with no waste

  • I'm all for less government, but I'm a leftists. I am for the overthrow of the corporatist system we live under and establishing a liberal democracy. So I'm for a big government at first but then the transfer of power to the local and civilian governments (ie. States, counties, cities). I don't believe in social conservatism and all that shit. Sorry!

  • bill thank you for dropping by and sending the video, but the next direction is a resource based economy---do away the government--good luck tho

  • Blame the government for all your ills! don't mention the Corporations which for 30+ years have been exporting your jobs to third world countries and keeping your wages at stagnation levels for that time, also this means more people turn to credit cards & loans which allows the banks/corporations to make even more money, this Less Government More Future is a Trojan Horse for more corporate greed to continue taking from the poor to feed the already over Rich minority, Occupy your Future!

  • The only real monopolies are all government run - EDUCATION is a great example. We're ranked 18th in the world, yet spend more than any other country.

    Government subsidies need to go.

Business too big to fail - that's a joke.

It is government that skews business in America. Paying farmers not to grow corn to keep the price higher than the market would call for.

The government has never been the solution, the government has always been the problem.

I hope some of you folks will read this.

  • Not a single Republican president has ever reduced the size of government vice versa they made it bigger if they could

  • All you people bashing a book you probably haven't even read...

  • It is a call for economic anarchy in the misguided belief that the "unseen hand" of the market place will make everything all right, What will happen is that the bigger fish will eat the little fish until there are less than 1% of the fish remaining and the other 99% will either be gone or kept for fish food.

Pretty campaign for a nonsensical premise!

  • All good points regarding big government. I might argue that not all on the right are for less government. There are statists in both camps of political thoughts.

  • A Lot of Bullshit from someone who may not be as educated as I am as far as I am concerned, I do not follow the herd, especially when it's running headlong over the cliff

  • i'd normally mark this spam, BUT people need to read shit like this. I need to write my own book myself - so you go Bill, keep up the wakin up.

  • What's the song playing in the background?

  • Term Limits for Congress= 2 terms for Senator, 4 terms for House, then go back home; and cut their pay down to average American with little or no benefits; it was meant to be an honor to be a servant of the people,- not a job or career!!

  • @brokkenstar So basically, you want only the rich to be able to run for office.

  • @Shanbo26 No, that's what you got right now.

  • @brokkenstar Good point.

  • Contd..

..and also my third letter to Prez Obama and you will know what I am saying along with all the relevant grounds, plus the solutions.

These links can be visited from the Politics page on my website "fatalurgecarefreekiss" but let me mention here, I don't write things to please anyone. I write what I believe is the truth and my version of truth might be different than yours.

If anything that is needed today, it is more Government involvement in business field, that is de-privaizing all that has been privatized, setting up an agency to support small business and promote it, making policies that make monopolizing a bad idea etc.

I cannot explain what I have written in four massive write ups on my website in comments over here. Visit my website fatalurgecarefreekiss and check the write ups on Capitalism, Recession, Privatization, Now or Never (Contd)

  • @thestrangeruknew Even though I do not currently agree with *everything* that you say, I'm definately gonna check out your site ! Thx a lot for your input !

  • Contd..

This recession happened because most of the Americans, Europeans and other developed nations, their ordinary people had no spare cash to buy items not of ordinary utilitiy, cutting the demand for the same. THose factories slowed down or closed down leaving many jobless, hence cash less. The fiasco spoonballed!

Imagine what will happen when the third world economies' people will be in the same boat as all their money will also pool up in the same monopolizing accounts!! (Contd)

  • Contd..

THe money that is piled up in few big corporation or businessmen's account will get the economy running again when they will use the same money to monopolize untapped third world markets like India, China, Philippines, etc, as they buy out the local business there. That's when the currently blocked money will flow in market again and the market will be temporarily running at full throttle again.

But what will happen in future? (Contd)

  • Let me make a statement before I explain:

    "Good intentions, wrong direction!!"

If the current economy is a mess it is because Government rather than controlling the monopolizing businesses, the politicians were hand in glove with those businessmen. Result is, all the global economies money is concentrating in a few accounts leaving most of the world population with barely enough to survive week to week. Some do it day to day, some year to year, depending upon what level you work at. Contd

  • interesting, a new view, realy interesting

  • RON PAUL 2012.... and I am not even American.

  • @Endza50 You don't have to be an American to be stupid, but it certainly helps.

  • banker shill

  • Too simplistic!!

  • The pro-business environment in the 1980s and the gradually more regressive taxes since 1960 have caused a consolidation of businesses that has lead to massively decreased competition, leading to massive price gouging and wage fixing, driving income down 5% an hour despite a 22x increase in GDP per capita, and the price index has increased 3x over since 1980, more than 5x since 1960. This means people have had less money despite working harder and earning their companies more.

  • LOL! What a dumb ass. You want more economic freedom? You mean more economic freedom for corporations. Those are austrian economist dumb asses who lack a basic understanding of feedback mechanisms such as brand loyalty, economies of scale, regressive regulations, etc. Over the past 50 years, the more freedom we give big businesses, the less financial and personal freedom individuals have, which right now is down 56% since 1980 and 74% since 1950.

  • pure right-wing bullshit.

  • I love it how he offers nothing to back up his "time-tested, undeniable truth". Sounds like a massive load of bullshit to me.

  • @sonnygll It is. History pretty much tells the opposite tale that this guy tries to pull.

  • @Shanbo26: There are gradients of slavery. But Greek slavery is not acceptable because it is less onerous than Egyptian slavery.

See "The Tale of the Slave - Robert Nozick" here on YouTube.

My goal is the end of slavery -- where humans and their work product are coercively controlled by others. I am not a serf, placated with partial slavery, which is just a slippery slope from countenancing Sudan slavery.

  • @denpratt And how are being controlled, idiot?

  • @Shanbo26 >crickets<

  • Lose the "right / left" bullshit. Self governance is the only true liberty, and I would be willing to bet you are more afraid of unbridled liberty than you are unbridled government., aren't you?

  • @amommamust Yes, because my freedom would only last until two other self-governing guys decide that I shouldn't be free.

  • The government is so fucked up. That's all i'm going to say. I know secrets up the yang.. cruel world..

  • "Less government" is a code phrase among nature-haters for less GREED-control. You can take a lesson from the founding of the EPA in 1970 after the "free market" had proved itself incapable of controlling pollution.

I for one don't want a future that's more polluted, crowded and full of phony patriots who are just out for themselves.

The whole idea that the economy can and must GROW forever on a FINITE planet is the core sickness that growth-addicts refuse to see.

  • @4aSteadyStateEconomy Please....the EPA has outlawed good things in favor of bad things. The EPA has gone way overboard.

Look at the Energy Department, formed in 1977 to make America more energy indepdendent. They have 16,000 employees, a budget of 28 Billion dollars and are no where closer to independence 34 years later. Yet they throw away tax dollars on Solyndra and other schemes because it's NOT THEIR MONEY!!!! Crony Capitalism is another one, can you say Obama & GE?

  • @ExistentialistPeace Capitalism has been given a bigger chance in America than Japan, Europe, or Canada. So how come they're all doing better than you?

  • @Shanbo26 (sound of crickets chirping)

  • NWO? Freedom for liberalism? No, thanks.

  • There is exactly ZERO chance I will buy or read this book. Best of luck with that. Maybe some of the 1% will waste their time on it...

  • Occupy Everything and take back our government, a government for the people!!

  • Less government?? Deregulation is how Wall Street and the big banks got us into this shit!! Get real.

  • @kitties34me so im guessing your the kinda guy who would surrender your freedoms for "Security"...

  • @TheMilitiaPatriot I'm guessing you're the kinda guy who would surrender your freedoms AND your security for stupidity.

  • @Shanbo26 You got that Ass backwards buddy.

  • @TheMilitiaPatriot Yeah, yeah. Just try to contain your shooting sprees to your own trailer park.

  • @Shanbo26 Hahh very funny, cause im pretty sure i live in the suburbs but ok.

America is not like a blanket -- one piece of unbroken cloth, the same color, the same texture, the same size. America is more like a quilt -- many patches, many pieces, many colors, many sizes, all woven and held together by a common thread.

Every generation needs a new revolution!

  • down with tyranny

  • How did our government squander a trillion dollars in one day? They paid off a couple dozen banks after the banks stole money from pension funds and investor funds all over the world. Yes I say they should have let them all fail. How can a private company be too big to fail? Only the public can't fail. Isn't it that those companies carried our jobs to China and not our government? Read just a little about the Collateralized Debt Obligation fiasco and then please make this movie again.

  • @NeverNotHere A company gets too big too fail when you let it get too big to fail. That's why we had anti-trust laws in place to prevent that from happening, until Reagan decided to stop enforcing them.

  • Just saw a report on NBC world news that the POOREST people in the USA making $11,000 a year are in the TOP 1% of the RICHEST people in the world!!!

EVERYONE in the US is in the TOP 1% of the RICH compared to the whole planet!!! Think about it....

  • Best of luck, Bill, with your book! I agree with your solution -- less government; the leftist who are ranting here at you don't understand how the "legitimate force" of government is used by their most hated enemies to subjugate and enslave them and their favorite subgroups. But I think you ignore that both "sides" of the false left-right political continuum increase government control over others; the right increases government every time they get in power for their favorite causes. So sad!

  • @denpratt You want to see a slave? Go to the Sudan. There are plenty of ex-slaves there. Be sure to tell them how bad you've had it. Be sure to give details of your miserable, enslaved existence. I'll bet he'll be overcome with empathy and declare you his brother on the spot.

In case you still don't get it, the above was sarcasm

  • The least amount of government would be none at all. I agree with you, Bill. That would be the best situation for all living beings.

  • You have it WRONG, Bill. The problem is TWO SIDED. Too much government on the left hand and too much corporate control on the right hand. Ironically, BOTH GOP and Dems are whores to the same political lobbyists - they have us coming and going, Bill. What you are doing is blaming the other side so both parties will fight each other and cast a blind eye to the vultures that are picking at our bones.

  • @RevJohn very very true!

  • If the book is anything like the rhetorical nonsense Cima spewed into the camera, it wouldn't be worth reading if it were free.

  • THE POLITICIANS GAVE CHINA OUR INDUSTRY AND OUR MARKET FOR THIER GOODS THAT ARE SO INFERIOR ITS PATHETIC, ITB WAS SUPPOSED TO BE QUALITY GOODS AT MUCH LOWER PRICES , A FARCE. NOW ALL OF OUR MANUFACTERING PLANTS AERE IN CHINA AND ELSEWHERE ! CORPORATE GREED.!

  • RIGHT......Hamid.

  • we need less Americans :)

  • @justlikethischannel

    lets start with you :)

  • More freedom, more opportunity for the few rich to subjugate the many poor.

  • yeh but whats it got to do with us? shouldnt the american government be ordering these books?

  • This is just not true. It is someplace in between where needed regulations exist and those that do not make sense are removed. You cannot deregulate business because you can't be trusted to do the right thing. You never have. That is the time tested truth. It's good regulation and ending government corruption and waste that will solve our problems.

  • I see. Of course!! Privatization!! Like the Airlines, Banks, and Student loans. Yeah. Less government. Everything does "so well" when it's deregulated!! Bill Cima, you're the voice of special interest plutocratic corruption. "Bill Cima: The voice of the 1%'ers". Video voted down.

  • Maybe if we had a smaller govt, the Wall Street crisis in 2008 wouldn't of happened? if you think that we need less regulations to fix our economic problems, you either work for Wall Street, or you're not mentally capable to make decisions for yourself.

  • I agreee with the concept but, communitst China and other socialist, ,marxist dictatorships by far are not the number one threat to the U.S. and the World. ISLAM poses the biggest threat.
