Honestly people, just enjoy the video! Zeon is an awesome fictional state--the song is epic--why not put them together? By the logic so many of you are using, we shouldn't put ANY music with videos about Zeon, unless it was composed solely for them. Ultimately though, Zeon is neither of those nations, so really any music is fitting--you could just as well put Battle Hymn of the Republic to Zeon.

@Mortskcab odd, I find Germany's national anthem one of the best in the world, nazi's used difference lyrics compared to today, and combined two songs together into a national anthem, first being of what anthem is used today, followed up by Horst Wessel Lied. To me though Deutschlandlied will be forever the national anthem of Germany the first part of the song was used in Nazi Germany's national anthem just sadly not the entire song. In instrumental form, it is unbeatable.

Poland thought it was supreme. It was time Germany taught it's oppresors that nobody will be "too evil" in war.
The holocaust? a simple reminder that Poland should burn in hell for Invading Germany.

also I understand that this is a farcry from the ideals and visions sung in this anthem.
I'ts not communism that makes for a good/bad system its the people and the people whom govern it.
same people whom are subject to corruption.
Standard of living in the soviet era may have been harsh, but so was the world at that time, fear and looming threat of war made for hard times.

Zeon had every right to be independant from the fed. I find it funny how most Japanese gundam fans cheer for the earth federation while most international gundam fans cheer for zeon

Most of my friends who are fans (Americans) have mixed feelings about it, because Zeon is made so deliberately to resemble Nazi Germany. But at the same time, they think Zeon was in the political right and was entitled to their independence.
