Excuse me if I'm wrong, but Western's purely flatwork isn't it...? He probably had no idea what he was supposed to do since you'd been riding him Western beforehand.

Awesome! :D But, if you're going to be doing a whole lot of jumping, an english saddle really is better for your horse than a western one. not trying to be the snob here, though- i wish western saddles were all-purpose! :(

Haha I love percheron. He is funny. He walks up and is like "you want me to jump over this? Ha! *kick* I'd much rather destroy it and walk over it." Lol draft horses have such cool personalities :)
