I almost cried listening to this. Fathers have no idea how important and significant they are for the son and daughter. Being fatherless is more of a horrible thing than simple words can explain and you can be fatherless even when your father lives in the same house as you. So many times that cycle of abuse, behavioral problems, violence, and the like continues for generations. I'm glad Todd didn't follow in his father's footsteps or his mom's next boyfriend's footsteps.

My hope is that none of my family members marry one another. My Dad was also abusive towards my mother verbal, mentally, and physically.
