  • R.I.P

  • This man had it all: talent, vision, looks, charm, songs with substance. What an amazing human being.

  • Cut the CRAP, RIP joe

  • r.i.p joe...you are so missed...your music touched many...and changed my life...i was so lucky to see the london calling tour. :) my tribute to the clash can be found on my channel...plz have a listen and if so inclined, leave a comment.

  • intresting to hear his take on rotten even tho rotten has criticized the clash in the past

  • awww joe . you wanted the clash back together...such a shame mick was a bit or an idiot back then... he is pissed ... i love joe and always will. for the erection crowd the bird is magenta divine. ignore alien orders sticker is the best guitar sticker ever

  • Everything Joe has touched has been magic. The Clash, The 101er's, with the Mescaleros and Latino Rockabilly War, all of it is beautiful. But Silver & Gold on Streetcore is the most beautiful song and so ironic since he died the year before the album was released. Gorgeous man. Gorgeous voice. ♥

  • @ThatGirlTyson

wow, my thoughts written by someone else, maybe not the gorgeous man bit, but he was, is still a fucking hero in my eyes. much love to you and the man himself.

  • How many erections did we get over that gothy jewish presenter (on Rapido)? Sexy as hell.

  • who is the bird?

  • Have alot of respect for Joe.Warts and all.

  • sweet!

  • I love Joe's honesty. xxx

  • that's so funny he admitted the film was crap, the scene they showed was about the one good bit!

  • damn he was good looking.....poor guy

  • Sexy Man <3

  • "but as for Rotten.." PAUSE.....deep drag on cig.....

  • joe talks real talk rip

  • Joe Strummer was so talented - not to mention sexy. I wish I could've been around when the Clash were in their prime, but unfortunately Joe died when I was 8...

  • Thanks for posting this interview with Joe!

  • also just so every one on here knows, since its obviously such a big deal, I FUCKINLOVE THE CLASH!!! which is one of the reasons i think joe strummer is a bitch.

  • what a cool guy

  • He's only lookin' for fun.

  • @michaelofGB45 Fuck you.

  • @MrGreenday49 ha ha is that the most punk rock thing you could think of mr greendayf? that's cute.

green day sucks blink 182 sucks my chemical romance sucks and you.. you suck the hardest!

  • @michaelofGB45 dont come to a joe strummer video to shit talk the great man that was joe strummer. take your whinging somewhere else dick. joe would have pissed on you.

  • @michaelofGB45 and the greatest thing you'll ever do is become a dumpster for your dads sperm so shut the fuck up you cunt its obvious no body will ever love you, just end it now

  • @masterkemp You are a fuckin' asshole, masterkemp.

Just thought I wld let ya know!

  • @michaelofGB45 OH SHUT THE FUCK UP YOUR OPINION IS INVALID. JOE STRUMMER IS A COMPLETE GOD.

  • Google ... "THC Cures Cancer"

  • Still one of my favorite men of alllll time. See ya in heaven Joe!

  • actually, it's stupid RHODES who told him to sack Mick and Joe fell for it. I don't grant RHODES anything tho' Joe always rehabilitates him. Managers are just swines, at the best at times. Rhodes was just a small time McLaren who himself was half a turd!

  • i fucking wish i was born in the 60's all the greats in music started then.. all i got now( born in the 90's) is hip hop, rap, rnb, dance, grime. shit pop, GAGA AND FUCKIN BEIBER!! long live the oldies mate. classic music back in them days

  • @laurencelake007 mfw The clash started in 76 -_-

  • @paintballmoreyo if he was born in 1976 he would still be too young to experience the music. but if he was born in say 1960 then he'd be 16 by the time the clash started. perfect age to experience the culture and to come of age.

  • I teach English overseas. Each semester I teach my students about Joe Strummer. I give them quotes, lyrics, and video clips.

    He is an amazing teacher.

  • UNFORGETABLE JOE

  • joe strummer is the spitting example of handsome. (:

  • She probably wears those sunglasses in the bath.....

  • ...'52.

  • what the hell is going on at the start?

  • @fountainofdouche VHS going funny...how old are you?

  • he waz kool really knew what true musical talent is all about

  • Oh, I adore this man soo much. <3

  • Joe was born in 1952, not 1953

  • Does anyone know what pub this was filmed in? I think it might be the elgin but i may be wrong?

  • Oh man, what a damn shame! He wanted The Clash back so bad, but relationships got so strained over the years that it just never happened, although it might have with the Rock N' Roll hall of fame induction. We'll never know what could have been. RIP Joe.

  • Thanks for putting this up!!!

  • I think joe is great and i think its very sad we lost him and another punk legend Malcom Mclaren recently. rip

  • @chloeag321 well Chloe, that's the price you pay for being a...legend ! MacLaren...I've always been suspicious of what he could do. He wasn't a punk at all. The only punk thing he did was do some porn in eastern Europe...and that needs to be proven. Only his clothes were a bit punk...but not in later years...he wore tweed and shit.

  • Topper was a ridiculously good drummer when you see footage of him he makes it look so effortless and easy. The thing I like about Joe is he wasn't like Rotten in that he was alright with talking about the past. Rotten was always a knobhead with it. Havin said that i have nothin but respect for him.

  • Thanks for posting this!

  • RIP

  • This is incredible. One of the most important videos for me on YouTube.

  • Joe Strummer as honest a guy you could ever want to meet. No Bullshit .

  • tells it like it is,..Joe was a honest guy.1st to say he went to boareding school yet he had no graces about bein Joe Strummer,..

    R.I.P Joe...Punk Warlord...

  • the first time I heard that mentioned it was thus cunt Tony I used to live with...he said it with this snidey stupid sneer...what's best be werking classe and a total idiot or educated at Strawberry school fo farts and have half a brain. I don;t think Joe's days at school was fun at all. I get a bit sick of that being mentioned here and there...

  • "First, last, and only true rock and roll hero."

  • Straight To Hell is such a hilarious movie. It should have been on Mystery Science Theater 3000. Love Joe and I can watch him in anything, but that was brutal.

  • we could have used alot more of him these days :(

  • Joe Strummer was so sexy!!! And I love his voice!!! RIP JOE!!!

  • ooh yes...

    specially on this interview...

sexiest man in the world for me ^^

  • exactly!!

  • They were great weren't they. Joe was a diplomats son very middle class...he roughed up his accent. But he seemed genuine...I thought they all were. Decent blokes. They'd have fans backstage , even nick em in for free. Ha!!

  • The Clash is the only band that matters.

  • gone too soon

  • Thought he was born in 1952. ( 8/21/52)

  • I think too...

  • @kalibluetoo it's 21 - 08 - 1952 in the real world...yes he was born in 1952

  • very interesting thank you for uploading

i knew joe regreted how the clash ended but seeing him talking about it..........makes me realize how much.
