I don't think these two characters should be pitted against one another. Master Chief is a Spartan Super Soldier, he's trained to fight and kill aliens, Isaac Clarke is an Engineer. Two completely different kinds of people, if it were something like Sam fisher vs Solid Snake, that would make more sense, but not this. Just my opinion on this.

also issac is quick and cautious and has the stasis but masterchief has the shields but it slight slower and less likely too be as cautious as much as try to take issac head on but Issac has enough smarts to be able to find a way past master chiefs shield as Master Chief would be able to find a way to deal with issacs stasis so i think what it would really boil down to is who's on who's turf but if they where both on a plain-field that neither knew very well it would be one hell of a fight
IF they actually fought, the genetically perfect 99.99% super bio-augmented soldier of war would win. Master Chief is superior but Isaac is indeed a badass.
I wnt to be honest,both of the characters are beast but I think Issac would win. all master chief does is fight flood and covanent but Isaac been through more so isaac would win. but I think the dragonborn off of skyrim would beat them both
A bit of a comment I saw when it was stated that MC would destroy a marker in an hour. Keep in mind there is a psychological factor here, the thing messes with your head, this is a severe thing that Isaac has lived through and destroyed twice. He's not just destroying an object. He is destroying a civilization that is trying to rebirth itself, in a way it is the opposite of the halo rings. With a much darker outcome. MC in a fist or gun fight hands down, Isaac when situations turn bad.

Considering that Master Chief's main ability is hiding behind a rock whilst his pretend shield regenerates, I'd rather have Isaac Clarke on my side, because he doesn't even have proper weapons to use (except the machine gun thing that I never used anyway), and still wipes the floor with his enemies.

1. Dodging is useless. Stasis moves at like what, the speed of sound or something, it just moves fucking fast. Stasis is basically not to let him dodge or go anywhere.

I love Isaac Clarke, but Master Chief is more skilled and better equipped. Although, if poor Chief finds himself in a dark room with Mr Clarke, armed with an energy sword... Then Isaac is going to dismember that ass to pieces. Bad ass factor goes to Clarke, skill and equipment factor goes to Chief. Toughness goes to Clarke, speed goes to Chief. Overall effeciency and adaptability goes to Clarke. Give Isaac a DMR and an Energy Sword, Chief would be fucked.

Toughness definitely Chief's since he fell from space without any protection other than his suit. @munguntulga uhm that would be because MC had actual armor and weapons. isaac had modified tools and a simple hyper advanced space suit with biofoam fillers should a breach occur. isaacs weapons dismembered enemies master chiefs didn't. and halo is literally over rated. (its rated M but the language is actually very mild as opposed to deadspace, there isn't and real gore in halo either, just bloud spray so it should really only be rated T to be realistic.)
@Falloutfan961 Dude do you know what a gravity hammer can do? it literally disintigrates your whole body. Same with the energy sword. Most the weapon in halo would leave pieces around if your enemy was not a shielded and far superior both physically and mentally than humans. Have you seen how the flood's body parts get dismembered, that would be the same faith for the necromorphs. I like how people's only complaint about halo is its overrated. The other few million ppl disagree.

One thing i never understand about survival/horror games is that the main characters are always some kind of average person with no experience with weapons but they seem to kill everything while actual experienced soldiers gets killed by a few enemies. In DS 2 i was like wtf Isaac killed hordes of these monsters but the 200 heavily armed guards cant kill a few of them. Big plot hole.
@munguntulga well im also saying that master chief with all his augmentations etc. basically has god mode. i don't really get why either, the soldiers were probably panicked and couldn't shoot straight. isaac (to be fair) never really had more than about 4 enemies at a time ('cept for the swarm or pack) attacking him in that small space. the soldiers never knew to dismember the necros tho but isaac learned that on the ishimura. it never made sense that isaac jus happens to no how to use the guns
The soldiers should know since they have been studying those things for god knows how long. Another thing that surprised me was there were no automated defenses in Ishimaru or Titan moon colony. Automated turrets or robots would have came in very handy since machines cant be turned. Another similar game is Half life, i like the game too but Gordon is a scientist with no real experience either but he somehow takes on an entire species of aliens. Isaac vs Gordon that would be a better match.
@Falloutfan961 Master Chief woulld probably have god mode if he was on the Ishimaru. Thats true Isaac went against 20 at most in DS2, but they were weaker necromorhps that used to be little kids.
@munguntulga my opinion (to be fair) is that if MC were a human, well a normal human, he would have done about the same as isaac but as stated MC is basically a walking tank.
@confucheese nonono i mean the pulse rifle is a weapon and in DS2 he gets the seeker rifle which is also a weapon. i don't get why the only REAL WEAPONS both suk ass 'til you upgrade them. PR does low damage and the special doesn't do much to make up for it. seeker rifle does good damage but reload sux and fire rate also sux
@munguntulga Issac is a crafty, intelligent guy. Chief is just one lucky bastard. Issac has fought his way out of every situation and luck was never a factor with Clarke as with Chief. Also, Chief survived that crash because of his suit. His body was even damaged. It's sheer luck he survived. Clarke has a good chance against Chief. Those necromorphs weren't mindless either, and can you say the same about the Brutes? Hell no, the enemies and Dead Space were much more fearsome.

@munguntulga Whatever man, say what you want. It all depends on the situation. You can't tell me that Chief ever had to use witts one time, all he ever did was fight. The guy was a brute and nothing more. Just a bad ass guy. Clarke is very intelligent and knows how to handle every situation well. If I knew more about Clarke's technology then this would be a much better guess. I give the edge to Chief, but you can't count Clarke out. Also, Clarke has stasis and kinesis. Huge factors.
MS chief wasnt damaged his armor just locked up. Necromorphs have same intellect as a zombie so pretty much mindless. Brutes are well brutish but their technology is better than human so they are not really stupid. Elites are both smarter and stronger than most humans. Master chief killed them all with ease not cause of luck but actual training as a soldier. Isaac is truly lucky he only got to face a few enemies while everyone else got swarmed. DC is a good game just Chief > isaac.
@munguntulga I was talking about Brutes from the Dead Space games. Isaac is not lucky, the man was thrown into countless situations without anyone to save him or anyting so don't say he is, no pelican ever came and picked his ass up and there was never any kind of back up.

No I don't read the Halo books I'm not really a fan exept Halo 2 was freakin awesome. I honestly prefer Dead Space, Resistance, and Gears of War but thats just my opinion, I just like the story (exept Gears of War has a terrible story).

@ThePwnageDude56 spatans have had buzz saws taken to there bone it dosent go through and isaac couldnt use stasis on sheif he wouldnt be a vle to get with chief would doge and even if he did he would still be moving at normal human speed.

Isaac has good advantages over Master Chief.
1. Dodging is useless. Stasis moves at like what, the speed of sound or something, it just moves fucking fast. Stasis is basically not to let him dodge or go anywhere.

I love Isaac Clarke, but Master Chief is more skilled and better equipped. Although, if poor Chief finds himself in a dark room with Mr Clarke, armed with an energy sword... Then Isaac is going to dismember that ass to pieces. Bad ass factor goes to Clarke, skill and equipment factor goes to Chief. Toughness goes to Clarke, speed goes to Chief. Overall effeciency and adaptability goes to Clarke. Give Isaac a DMR and an Energy Sword, Chief would be fucked.

@rpgamer94 You know that the chief made entire armies disappear. Plus his strength is probably strong as any necromorph since he can tear a tank to bits. Toughness definitely Chief's since he fell from space without any protection other than his suit. Master went against superior aliens that actually has weapons, Isaac went against brainless monster similar to the flood but the flood is far more deadlier. They should't even be compared bro.

@munguntulga uhm that would be because MC had actual armor and weapons. isaac had modified tools and a simple hyper advanced space suit with biofoam fillers should a breach occur. isaacs weapons dismembered enemies master chiefs didn't. and halo is literally over rated. (its rated M but the language is actually very mild as opposed to deadspace, there isn't and real gore in halo either, just bloud spray so it should really only be rated T to be realistic.)

@Falloutfan961 Dude do you know what a gravity hammer can do? it literally disintigrates your whole body. Same with the energy sword. Most the weapon in halo would leave pieces around if your enemy was not a shielded and far superior both physically and mentally than humans. Have you seen how the flood's body parts get dismembered, that would be the same faith for the necromorphs. I like how people's only complaint about halo is its overrated. The other few million ppl disagree.

@Falloutfan961 Plus you just made my point, Master chief is actually trained and equipped to deal with enemies. One thing i never understand about survival/horror games is that the main characters are always some kind of average person with no experience with weapons but they seem to kill everything while actual experienced soldiers gets killed by a few enemies. In DS 2 i was like wtf Isaac killed hordes of these monsters but the 200 heavily armed guards cant kill a few of them. Big plot hole.

@munguntulga well im also saying that master chief with all his augmentations etc. basically has god mode. i don't really get why either, the soldiers were probably panicked and couldn't shoot straight. isaac (to be fair) never really had more than about 4 enemies at a time ('cept for the swarm or pack) attacking him in that small space. the soldiers never knew to dismember the necros tho but isaac learned that on the ishimura. it never made sense that isaac jus happens to no how to use the guns

The soldiers should know since they have been studying those things for god knows how long. Another thing that surprised me was there were no automated defenses in Ishimaru or Titan moon colony. Automated turrets or robots would have came in very handy since machines cant be turned. Another similar game is Half life, i like the game too but Gordon is a scientist with no real experience either but he somehow takes on an entire species of aliens. Isaac vs Gordon that would be a better match.

@confucheese nonono i mean the pulse rifle is a weapon and in DS2 he gets the seeker rifle which is also a weapon. i don't get why the only REAL WEAPONS both suk ass 'til you upgrade them. PR does low damage and the special doesn't do much to make up for it. seeker rifle does good damage but reload sux and fire rate also sux

@munguntulga Issac is a crafty, intelligent guy. Chief is just one lucky bastard. Issac has fought his way out of every situation and luck was never a factor with Clarke as with Chief. Also, Chief survived that crash because of his suit. His body was even damaged. It's sheer luck he survived. Clarke has a good chance against Chief. Those necromorphs weren't mindless either, and can you say the same about the Brutes? Hell no, the enemies and Dead Space were much more fearsome.

How is Chief lucky? he destroyed an entire armada of covies, destroyed a ring world, escaped total planetary annihilation on reach, defended earth from millions of covies. The enemy fear him as a demon. An squad of elites would destroyed an entire colony of necromorphs easy. @munguntulga Whatever man, say what you want. It all depends on the situation. You can't tell me that Chief ever had to use witts one time, all he ever did was fight. The guy was a brute and nothing more. Just a bad ass guy. Clarke is very intelligent and knows how to handle every situation well. If I knew more about Clarke's technology then this would be a much better guess. I give the edge to Chief, but you can't count Clarke out. Also, Clarke has stasis and kinesis. Huge factors.

MS chief wasnt damaged his armor just locked up. Necromorphs have same intellect as a zombie so pretty much mindless. Brutes are well brutish but their technology is better than human so they are not really stupid. Elites are both smarter and stronger than most humans. Master chief killed them all with ease not cause of luck but actual training as a soldier. Isaac is truly lucky he only got to face a few enemies while everyone else got swarmed. DC is a good game just Chief > isaac.

Plus kendra saved Isaac's ass on so many ocassions like opening locked rooms where he would have been swarmed in or making a poison to kill the giant monster that was infecting the air. MC was never save by anyone, he had to do the saving. Pelicans usually only come after master chief cleared the entire area of enemies. MC would pummel the brute.
