If the one dislike didn't like Nothing Goes Unchanged then I think you're in the wrong site. This is beautiful. Anita Kerr and her singers were the best in the field of vocal group harmony, bar none. I need say no more.

Still can't underestand why the Anita Kerr Singers haven't been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. They've sung background on so many country hits.

First found AK I'n 1970 (!) in a bin of Christmas albums when I was a freshman in college. Hearing her lovely voice always reminds me of that happy time. Her version of one of the best Christmas songs ever, "hurry Home for Christmas," should have become a holiday standard. It was at my house. Thanks for posting this.

The singers in "butch Cassidy" while certainly stylistically close to AK are studio musicians used by Burt Bacharach who composed all of the soundtrack tunes.

Now I read that AK did NOT actually perform in the Butch Cassidy film even though arrangements used were unmistakably patterned on her sound. WHO COULD HAVE POSSIBLY DUPLICATED HER SOUND?
