  • @natatouille14 omg! you read my mind. I've been wanting to... just need the perfect setting.

  • Anne I just wanted to share what my husband found on AOL,the FDA found large amounts of lead in some familiar lipsticks, its called Could Your lipsticks give you lead poisoning? please pass this on and see what we as consumers can do to stop this we as woman spend too much money and the cosmetic industry to have this happened,

    Thanks,Anne

  • I like the old you better :(

  • @l1ttled1d1kn0w I'm still Ann sweetie... just always trying new things ;)

  • Love the video! Great!

Wanted to know if we could use only one type of butter (for eg Cocoa butter). Most of those butters aren't available in the middle east, so if am using only one type of butter than how would this affect the measurements?

    Thanx! :)

  • @sabounasoaps you sure can! Use 4-5 ounce butter n 2 ounce wax

  • Anne, you should totally consider doing your own line of these products! I absolutely LOVE homemade soaps, butters, and smell-goods ; and being able to buy from somebody I trust will have good products would be really nice! :) THUMBS UP , so she can see !

  • I hate those. Why are they not food? l:

  • super duper coolio

  • hey anne how long will those bars last for? can you keep them for a long time or do they need to be used up immediatly? thanks love your videos!

  • @MSPMY hi =) each bar can last up to 1-2 weeks. leaving them to sit around for weeks will oxidize the oils which may lose it's natural properties.

  • What's your first language?/ heritage?

  • wish I had all the ingredients, so I can make these amazing bars

  • omg those look soo good!

  • I am absolutely LOVING your DIY videos lately. Please keep making more with these innovative and very useful DIY videos!!!

  • thanks ann!

so you dont wash it off? its like lotion? can you use it on your face?

  • @ZherieLove it's body moisturizer

  • for some odd reason i want to eat one of these

  • I really like this video! I had no idea they are that easy to make. Now...just need to find a place that sells all these butters without having to purchase online.

    Thank you for the inspiration!

  • You are a true beautician... Your so versatile from creativity with styles to DIY products! Love watching your videos.. Might try this recipe.. thx :)

  • Thanks for the vid. But where can I find the molds????

  • @jennyramos9 its in the description bar :)

  • @ZherieLove ha ha I should have read the description box. lol Thanks!!!

  • That looks great and easy to do thanks

  • Thank you!

  • After pouring all the ingredients in the mold, do you put it in the refrigerator?

  • @swtd12eams yes you can for fasting cooling... I leave them out in my sun room since it's winter and cold.

  • thanks for this i wanna try it :)

  • I absolutely love this tutorial!! please continue to showing us how to make homemade natural things items that we could use for beauty care. I despise chemically manufactured lotions, lip balms, soaps, shampoos etc. They contain ingredients that may be harmful to you over a long period of time. I enjoy shopping at lush, although they do contain products with parabens in them, which I'm not too crazy about, but its the closest thing I've got to natural. So thank you! <333

  • you do very nice and intresting videos! thank you so much!

  • awesome!!

  • Amazing! n_n

  • Can't wait to try this, i loooove your homemades, do more.

    Pleese

  • there somthing wrong with the info bar i don't know why youtube need to fix this lol

  • Do you know these bars' melting temperature? Cuz I want to bring them to school with me since winter's very dry >.<

  • Love it!

  • @anneorshine i see! My one says green tea powder but its made in japan.. oh wells, i'll just try and see if it works out :) thank youu C:

  • @SHINeeB2STxx that should do fine ;)

  • @SHINeeB2STxx now all tea power is matcha. some tea is called powder (also in japan) when it is just smaller than usual green tea leaves but not like powder. if you are looking for it, dont look for green tea podwer but always for matcha.

  • Amazing

  • increadable video love it

  • i like the way jojoba sounds:)))

  • I was wondering, how do you store these?

  • is it safe to use everyday

  • I really want to try these but I don't know if I can find even half of there ingredients by me :(

  • Luv it!!

  • I love your creativeness! THIS IS SO COOL!

  • You are soooo creative!!

  • is this a soap? do i use it in the shower?

  • @beapinkie9 It's used like a moisturizing lotion, except in solid form.

  • This is absolutely amazing!

  • You should sell this stuff... Really.. People will pay good for organic cosmetics!

  • thanks for this!! I can't wait to give it a try!

  • i asked mah mom if i could make this and shes like " go to cvs and buy body soap bars its cheaper and faster." but i told her it helps your body and it smells good ],=

  • cool

  • So you don't use it like soap? You just rub into the skin whenever?

  • @megabonliver it's to moisturize your body like shown in the video ;)

  • AWESOME .. they remind me of LUSH massage bars =D

  • cool diy :)

  • can you bathe with it? and will it sud?

  • @trishi12 I wouldn't. Use it after bath to moisturize your body.

  • @trishi12 They're not soaps :p They're basically bars of lotion except better and all natural XD So basically, it won't do you any good to bathe with them. Hope that helped? :}

  • Can you eat these? Just kidding, great video, love this idea : )

  • can you leave out the oats?

  • COULD I MELT A SOAP BAR AND THEN ADD MY STUFF TO IT

  • @bolingisinmyblood I dont think so... Then it is soap and not body butter... But you can find really good soap diy's too! :D

  • I love all these DIY videos they are so useful :D Thanks :D

  • forget Lush. making my own body butters/massage bars!

  • loved the idea. You're realy handy =)

  • Anne, so is this a type of soap?

  • wouldnt it be cheaper just to buy a body butter.. i added everything up and it would cost like $80 for all the ingredients!

  • @TinkerLynne $80 of material that will produce more than $80 of retail body bars ANDDDD other stuff like the lip balms, soaps, etc...

  • Where did u get that top you're wearing?? The blue and white one.

  • @EndlessHarmony1 I made it! =)

  • does this stuff ever go out of date? :)

  • @ValkyrieCain123 this recipe is made for quick usage... but oils and butter oxidized unless you store it properly.

  • these are so cute!

  • WOW you are AMAZING! It looks like a commercial and I loove your voice! <3 I've been into DIYs lately too, but not pro like you hehehe! OMG I am soo going to try this! Thank you so much for this video!

  • @AprilAthena7 lol... you're too cute April... Love you girl!

  • OMG ....... this video is just amazing ..... but I don't get what this wax is ?? it's like powder , but isn't wax like honey ? Oo

  • @SRHxCso it's like wax as in candle wax but possibly softer ^^

  • @ValkyrieCain123 :O !!! thank you ! =)

  • Hi & Thank you very very much for doing this video. It is so ultra expensive to buy these bars I should know I have bought quit a few at White Basin. Now you have just helped me & given me the recipe to do this myself at home. I love your Channel it's so helpful and easy to follow.

You're a doll thank you so very much. Have a great day and keep them coming. :>) Lv Lucille

  • Ann, your recent DIY videos are SO AMAZING & high quality!! I appreciate you telling the benefits of each material. I hope you make more DIY videos!! ^________^ <333 Thank you so much for sharing!!

  • This video is amazing! I really want to try this and make one for the face. More coco butter, should I use wax at all for the face bar? I'm not sure if coco butter alone gives it shape or you need the wax to have a bar lol.

  • @harvestcheddar0 use a smaller mold... cocoa butter and mango is very hard alone... so you should be good... just don't make it huge and keep in in cool condition ;)

  • @anneorshine oh, ok great! Thanks so much :)

  • Thank you so much for this! I was just wondering, whats the difference between green tea matcha and green tea powder? Can i just use green tea powder?

  • @SHINeeB2STxx Matcha is made only from Japan... If it's made other places then they call it green tea powder. Kind of similar- however most matcha are better in quality.

  • Love this! Thanks alot :)

  • this is just like lush! :)

  • this is so cool!!

  • These types of bars are great for traveling.... No hassel during the airport security check because it's a solid :)

  • @qochemist great idea!

  • omg great

  • just to be clear; these are like lotion bars, right? NOT soap?

  • @blue0eyes6 yes... it's not to wash... moisture your skin... you rub it on your skin.

  • this might sound stupid, but what is a body bar?

  • @girlymoomoo888 like soap.

  • @annnnjell I don't think so? I think they're moisturizers.... she's kind of unclear though

  • @girlymoomoo888 it's a a moisture bar... u rub it on your skin.

  • wow r u opening up a buizz? good luck :;+) I'm getting my bath & body/jewelry buiz going it's been really fun, especially using local herbs from farmers markets & my garden . I've been add it since 2007 & it's slowly but surely taking off . PeAcE & MANY BLESSINGS

  • Maybe you should open a shop similar to "Lush" with all these wonderful receipes!

  • I actually really liked this video! At first i tought it was food :D

    lol

  • For some reaso I get hungry when I watch this, hahaha!

  • how do you store these butters?

  • @TiisWorld a box, jar, or something with a lid... I use mine so much I just put it on a plate near my night stand.

  • You are such a crafty girl anne! thanks for this informative video!!!

  • LOVE IT! great job with editing, I love your vids. And thank you for sharing, I can't wait to try it and have them waiting for me in my little basket after a long day. <3 I never knew mango butter relieves tense muscles, that's fantabulous.

  • loved this video! was wondering, will these bars attract ants? lol

  • @feliqque haha... never thought of that but I would put it in a jar or something if I knew ants are a problem =)

  • Love this vid very detailed! Good job!

  • Awesome! Is there a way that I can make this suitable for my face? I have really dry skin and i want a thick, moisturizing face butter type of thing??

  • @KayKayVBabyG instead of wax use more cocoa butter since it's more solid, that should not clog your pores.

  • your videos are so unique and creative. i love them!

  • i love this video! you are so creative, anne

  • i havent seen something like this on youtube...BRAVO.

  • anne, I didnt quite understand how you put in the oak.... please explain again?

  • @MrsEZstyle sure... after you melt all ingredients... pour it into your mold, let it sit until it looks milky, then sprinkle in the oats... let it sit to cool.

  • cool idea! like lush. :)

  • I can't wait to try this!

  • By the way where do you get the cosmetic/food grade wax? Do you have any recommended websites I can order it from? Thanks this DIY is great for gifts!

  • @SuBelleza I knew I forgot to add something! I just added the links ;)

  • @3bubblegirl3 A very faint smell of the Matcha or cocoa butter... otherwise it's odorless... unless you add scent oils.
