    Moment of Truth

    The Chronic

    36 Chambers

GRODT and The Blueprint had solid production as well

    YOU GUYS ARE SOME DUMBASSES

  • some ones been sucking 50s cock

  • No one cares about your opinions if its a good list or not at least he's put the effort in so chill

  • production was better when artists didnt have about 10 producers on the album :/

  • @BigL2502 what about illmatic? thats the greatest album ever and had all different producers on it.

  • @hochsr yeah, it had 5 producers on the album, not like 10 lol! and 3 of them producers are no doubt in the top 10 of all time (preemo, pete and large pro) think about all these classic albums, and how many producers were on the albums.....doggystyle (dre) dogg food (daz dillinger) moment of truth (preemo) infamous/hell on earth (havoc) enter the 36 chambers (RZA) word life (mainly buckwild) ready to die (lord finesse, easy mo bee, premier) and the list goes on.....

  • nice list

  • I don't think most people see the word PRODUCTION, The rappers usually have no doing in producing. 50 cent has some good beats but we all know he is shit lyrically.

  • die this is the worst list ever 50cent doesnt deserve to be on top 100

  • @N0zix420 It says PRODUCTION not lyrical. 50 cent had NOTHING to do with production. He had a good production crew.

  • @thestevester94

yaa still clown shoes dre and other make his beats god damn fucking learn something before u make a dumb ass video

  • Where Violent by design by Jedi Mind Tricks?!

Some of the best production in the history of the game!

  • the list isnt too bad, missing breaking atoms, in control volume one, illmatic, and mobb deep but for the most part it has the best producers' best albums

  • East 1999

  • You wanna talk about best produced? Madvillainy (by Madlib) easily takes the cake but I take it you listen to mainsteam "hip-hop" too much.

  • definitaly me against the world shoulda made the top 10 as well as illimatic

  • I don't care what the haters say, I hurt my neck from bobbin my head so hard! Tight list mane!

  • WTF!!! no ILLMATIC ?????

  • Dude i like this list. Whats with all the hate??

  • LIFE AFTER DEATH WAS BETTER THAN RTD . and only built 4 cuban links shouldnt be there at all . wheres public enemys album ? wheres southernplayalisticcaddilac musik

  • liquid swords? too much dre, and foreal illmatic and reasonable doubt should be on there

  • top 10 produced albums 1. Gang starr - hard to earn 2.Nas - Illmatic 3. Jay z - Reasonable doubt 4.Eminem - Infinite 5. Madvillian - madvillany 6. 2pac - Me agenist the world 7. Gang starr - moment of truth 8. Dr.dre the chronic 9.GZA - Liquid swords 10. Only built 4 cuban linx

  • @dannyfigs45

then u obviously deaf then .

  • The Chronic hands down

  • the best produced album is doggy style . u are stupid if u think 36chambers is better than doggystyle . must be deaf ..

  • im mean u put the music up urself . tell a kid or any on who isnt biased/thinks they know hiphop to listen to this youtube clip and they will tell u which album is the best produced .

  • @kedordu na u aint got to be... snoop dont stande a chance against the wu man

  • i dunnow man like wu is gud ya know but iz somethin bout snoop that makez this nigga more original

i mean wu is original but they juz a bunch of rappers snoop is on his own

i think thaz da diffrnce that makez snoop better

plus his flow and shit is mo tight

  • dude that jay-z album had way too many producers to be a good produced album the infamous, liquid swords, paid in full or the low end theroy should have been there instead of 2001 50,cent and blue print.

  • Dope list. I didn't see the SCORE(Fugees). But puttin Mecca and the soul brother and Moment of truth shows real HIP HOP knowledge.

  • what's the 2nd wu-tang song?

  • can't it all be so simple

  • dat be protect ya neck from 36 chambers.

  • I can't find any fault with this list!

  • Definately Doggystyle, Enter The Wu-Tang &Only Buit For Cuban Linx. Overall Busta Rhymes as very variated produced albums too mostly Genesis (Neptunes, Just Blaze, DJ Scratch, Dr.Dre, Megahertz, Jellyroll) & Big Bang. The Predator, Tha Doggfather, Moment Of Truth, Iron Man, Ready To Die, CHronic & Marshall Mathers LP are great too. Unfortunately I never saw an album produced by Dre, Premier, Pete Rock, Muggs & RZA my top 5 producers.

  • Pete Rock#1111111

  • the best produced album is illmatic

u have pete rock, premo, large pro...

another good one is the infamous by mobb deep

    u have q-tip and havoc

or mad skillz - from where???

    u have j dilla, buckwild, .....

    nuff said

  • Dude with u on 50 situ, fact he's so wack he drags the whole list with him! If ya gonna have a Blueprint up there J-Z what?...KRS-ONE dude!!! Best produced albums should take into consideration originalitity shouldn't it? Dre's a gr8 producer but what about Abnormal or names/albums I didn't expect 2 c up there when I clicked on this? There's more 2 Hip Hop than New School Gangsta (I neva agreed wi that term anyhow) Gangstas can shoot straight - 9 shots dude's stil breathin lol? ;o) Nuff love

  • I would go crazy at you for including 50 cent but you made up for it with moment of truth. :)

  • fuck u- 50's shit was hot UNTIL he released the massacre, then he fell off

  • Why 50 Cent on the list :I

  • @BizzTheFunk

    why your mama ain't?

  • Idk man, She Doesnt suck at rapping so much like 50 Does.

  • woah, yo man gotta give you props fo that. Kudos.

  • weak

  • damn..this list is limitied...wheres a tribe called quest?..no native tongue?...black star?...jeez...what about jedi mind tricks?..some binary star?....they had some ill beats..much better than get rich or die trying or the blueprint or the chronic...the main ingredient was better than mecca and the soul brother....what about people under the stairs?...and the Infamous...Souls of Mischief?Ultramagnetic mcs?.The Pharcyde?..yo this list is whack..what about little brother and The Unseen by Madlib?

  • The first Chronic album is my favorite

  • All Eyes on Me- 2 Pac!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Decent list but this dumbass doesnt put illmatic in top 10 what the fuck my top 10 no particular order Illmatic Liquid Swords Only built for Cuban Links 36 chambers Low End Theory Moment of Truth Chronic 2001 Ready to Die Reasonable Doubt Marshall Mathers Lp
  • see that entire list is only one style of production really. Its all raw each coast style except for 2001 and sort of marsahll mathers. If this list was my 10 favorite produced albums then that would be more reasonable, but its 10 best. i gotta put in a few different styles. Even my list wasnt that diverse. Also, with illmatic, I really always thought the lyrics outshined the beats, and didnt realize how highly people thought of the production until i made this list

  • fuck there goes 7 minutes of my life im nevet gonna get back

  • wrf is that were is beastie boys epdm de la soul krs1 man you suck real hip hop is not bullets drugs and pimp fuck ur list

  • hahah wow dude. First of all, the lyrics have nothing to do with the production. Second, I have moment of truth and mecca and the soul brother, definitely not generic gangsta rap. I dont think that those productions are quite as good but when it comes down to it, its just an opinion

  • 6.25 ???

  • most of this list is bullshit except for doggystyle, chronic, and 2001 haha basically any album dre produced

  • a lot of get rich was dre

  • @mikestamoulis what are you talking about cuban linx??? thats one of the best albums of all time rza is a genius.

  • thank you twest

  • This Is A Typical Big Commercial Mainstream List,

What About Gang Starr or Black Moon

  • gangstarr is fucking number 3 lol

  • thats a list i'm tryna find man throw some heltah skeltah on that list

  • @TWestT lol mainstream wtf??? no buddy lil wayne is mainstream not raekwon or dre or big or gang starr.

  • @TWestT dude this is not mainstream at all ask anyone on the streets on they would not be able to name you 2 albums

all of these albums are critically claimed

  • Your List is so fuckin' weak.

7L&Esoteric AesopRock Afu-Ra Atmosphere Blackalicious Beatnuts CunninLynguists DaBushBabies DeLaSoul DelTheFunkyhomosapien El-p Eyedea&Abilities Fugees Gangstarr GiftOfGab Hieroglyphics ImmortalTechnique JayDilla JungleBrothers Jurassic5 JuruTheDamaja KRS1 LivingLegends Literates LLCoolJ LostBoyz LyricsBorn MastaAce MFDOOM MosDef Mr.Lif Murs NonPhixion OneBeLo Pharcyde P.U.T.S. PublicEnemy SenimSilla Roots Shad Soloplexus SweatshopUnion TypicalCats Virtuoso WuTang

  • 1) both wu tang and gang starr are on the list and so is Raekwon....

    2) you just listed like 30 artists, not albums, and i only had 10 to choose

    3) I had fugees and j dilla on the other parts of the list

    4) your entire list is one type of hip hop. I have some of that kind of beat, but you have to accept there are other types

  • @auhosj877 man im not saying that there should be one type of hip hop producing

but underground artists got far more better fill beats mainstream beats are monotonic

same shit over and over again

did you even listen to cunninlynguists will rap for food that one song for some can crash whole 50cent album

  • this list is fucking garbage

  • true story.

  • Big l's lifestlyez is defently top 10 bro

  • where is All Eyez On Me????? fuck new school! fuck lil wayne, soulja boy , flo "dick" rida .......

  • what happened to the infamous

  • Wheres Illmatic, Ready to Die, Lifestylez of da poor & Dangerous? Capital Punishment?

  • Ready to Die is #6

  • Good list. In my opinion it should go: 1. Reasonable Doubt - Jay-Z 2. Aquemini - Outkast 3. The Score - The Fugees 4. Only Built 4 Cuban Linx - Raekwon 5. Stankonia - Outkast 6. The Blueprint - Jay-Z 7. Doggystyle - Snoop Dogg 8. Buhloone Mindstate - De La Soul 9. A Piece of Strange - Cunninlynguists 10. 2001 - Dre Honorable Mentions: ATLiens, Things Fall Apart, 3 Feet High and Rising, Do You Want More, Ready To Die, The Chronic, Midnight Marauders, Late Registration
  • This Aint Bad For "best Well Produced Albums"

Idk If I Can Agree But I Can Respect It

  • whahaha get rich or die trying is not!! a classic . a classic album should be played from track 1 till the last track without you wanne skip a song and i can't say that for that album sorry

  • I Manifest: Gangstar Looking out The Front Door: Main Source Cause I Got It Like That: Jungle Brothers Rebel w/o a Pause: PE Wake up: Brand Nubian Erick B for Pres: Erick B & Rakim Rock Box: Run DMC Stakes is High: De La Soul Bonita Applebum: Tribe C/ Quest Umi Says: Mos Def Hey Love: King Sun Go Stetsa: Stetsasonic Knock Em Out: MC Sugar Ray Top Billin: Milk Paper thin: MC lyte
  • life styles of the poor by big l isn't here???

  • pretty decent list, its cool u put obfcl but wheres liquid swords bro? in my eyes thats number one...that or 36 chambers cant lose with either of those being number one...rza is the best producer of all time...and wheres illmatic, thats a great album and so is the main ingredient??? pete rocks a beast!!!

  • for got pac all eyes on me one of the best albums of all time

  • notice how all the the GOOD albums are only produced by one guy, da wu albums? RZA RZA AND RZA. da west coast? DR,DRE. wen it comes to 50 n jaay-Z? u got like ten Guys? wat the fuck wer u smokin wen u put 50 n jay in this list?? and WERE THE FUCK IS LIQUID SWORDS???

  • cuban lynx should be higher, 36 chambers should be #1, liquid swordz should be top 3

  • didnt daz and kurupt produce doggystyle too?

  • dre

  • illmatic?

  • ENTER THE 36 CHAMBERS should be #1

  • I didnt see one Outkast album or Mobb Deep, wtf????

  • 2001 #1? never!!! The Chronic is better, all eyez on me is better, doggystyle is better, OB4CL is better! it should be on 50s place or somrthing, because it's not bad, but not that good to be #1!!!

  • i think 2001 and the chronic should swap places really. great list just a few things need swapping around. thanks for the post man!

  • all eyez on me instead of get rich or die tryin

  • you already have doggystyle and mecca and the soul brother on 25-11

  • Where is "The Cold Vein" by Cannibal Ox? El-P put together 15 of the most original and amazing beats of all time. It's like I died and went to hip-hop heaven when I first heard that album. I can listen to the instrumentals version of that album over and over again. I can't argue with Dre and Rza though. The 2 best ever hands down.

  • Blackstar was good. Be had tight beats. Pete Rock and Cl made a very defined album.

  • what the fuck are you talking about? if you think mecca and the soul brother, 36 chambers, moment of truth, ready 2 die, or only built for cuban linx are even close to hip pop you are out of your fucking mind

  • Comment removed

  • jay z is wack

  • i dont like jayz

  • Youre wack nigga.

  • i disagree with your list? get 50cent out of there dude.. and where's Cypress Hill?

  • im not crazy about that list. Reasonable doubt has better more classic type beats than BP. The infamous is a staple in any top 10 beats and ur missing that. southernplayalisticadilacmuzik along with either tribes midnight marauders or low end theory shud be there over albums like GRODT or 2001. Not a bad list im not gunna sit here and bash it but i feel like theres def better produced albums out there

  • fucc gay-z,fucc 50,fucc dre

  • he didnt say he liked jay z he said the album was good produced

  • lose the fiddy album 4 A tribe called quest any of their albums are just epic, n drop jay z 4 gza liqiud swords

  • Has everyone here forgotten about the legendary J-Dilla?! Like Water For Chocolate by Common is one of the heaviest albums of all time, both lyrically and in terms of production...can't believe it's been overlooked!

  • This is a great list, I'd put Reasonable Doubt, Strictly Business, and Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik on there though. And maybe Cunninlynguists "A Piece of Strange". But it would be hard to take off four of these.

  • i dont know how u got a 50 cent album and a jay z album and not have illmatic

  • cuz whether u like it or not Get Rich..is a classic album

  • no boy, how is it a classic. a classic is illmatic, the low end theory, paid in full. your gonna tell me that get rich or die tryin is a classic? u must be in bizzaro world

  • it is a classic nd its prolly da best album in dis Decade..nd i didnt say Illmatic is not a classic i jst classic get rich is a classic simple

  • 8 diagrams dropped in the late year man so its shit compared to that

  • Get rich or die trying was a classic fool, im not a fan of 50 but get rich or die trying was definitly a classic, doesnt matter your personal taste but the public at large...Ill quote Jada&SP "get rich or die trying was a classic, now youre rich and youre trying to die, you's a dumb bastard"

  • thats really unoriginal, i could give 2 shits if someone is tryin to get rich or die tryin. really everybody is tryin to do that. besides what kind of message is that in my music. i want to hear real shit about poverty, love, growin up.

  • I think you tottaly missed the point of my quote. I quoted Jada and SP because even they admit get rich or die trying was a classic, while they were beefing with 50. wether you like it or not doesnt matter, you think everyone likes illmatic? I know people who dont, that doesnt make illmatic unclassic. Their opinion doesnt matter Illmatics a classic, your opinion doesnt matter get rich or die trying is a classic. is it on illmatics level? fuck no, not imo, but that doesnt make it unclassic.

  • Illmatic's not on Get Rich's level!? Bwahahahahahahahahahaha!!! No aspiring rapper would EVER say that. Any REAL hip-hop head would tell you Illmatic is one of the best records of all time. Kill yourself.

  • Lol this is why people who cant read shouldnt try. Did you pass the reading comprehension portion of your exit exam queen?

  • true i think kanye is a million times better than fif but come get rich i was in 6th grade then, made all our summer list

  • 6th grade? I think i was in 7th or 8th when that dropped.

  • its definitely no where near the best album of this decade, try the preface by elzhi or the renaissance by q-tip, those were da best man, dont know what u talkin about, next thing u gonna tell me is that the carter 3 was a great album, HA!

  • lool naw carter aint shyt but im jst sayin tho dats my opinion nd im sure a lot of people agree wit me on dat

  • don't forget 8 diagrams

  • illmatic wasnt too greatly produced...just great lyrics over raw beats...RD way better produced...way better album too...

  • good list

  • jay z is shit

  • 1. The documentary

    2. Get rich or die tryin

these 2 are only cd's that i can give 10/10 just perfect, All song hits.

  • rly? not midnight marauders, 36 chambers? none of the albums that influenced game n fiddy?

  • jazzmatazz vol 4 was pretty good

  • No Souls of Mischief!? tsk tsk

  • Where the hell was Illmatic?

  • He should've said that this are his top 10 best produced albums of all time....

    Everyone has his own opinion.

  • hm yea you're right. Get rich or dyin' is a well produced album. Never seen this before ^^

Lyrics are weak as hell but the producion is tight tho... still miss a lot.

    (4/5)

  • WHAT HAPPENT TO reasonable boubt.....or its dark and hell is hot

  • only built for cuban linx one of my favorite cds ever.

  • Seriously, this doesn't live up to the title. The Infamous by Mobb Deep is tons of times better produced than Ready To Die, RD is better produced than Blueprint (the likes of Hola Hovito are abysmal), Illmatic is perhaps the best-produced album aswell and 2001 doesn't deserve to be here in all honesty.

  • agreed, illmatic should definitely be number one, classic dj premier, pete rock, large pro, q tip? nothing is fuckin with that

  • no offense, but where the hell is college dropout, every song on that album had a tight beat

  • Nas,2pac,mobb deep,Redman, and EPMD.But that's top 15 or 20. Yo all yall stay tuned for my hip hop forum coming soon to youtube.

  • Yo!!!! That was on point. I agree fully. I would have added NWA's 1st album without Cube and Cube's debut solo joint but that still a good list. You are true hip hop.

  • Dj Premiere and RZA are the best producers ever. Hands down.

  • Get rich aint a hip hop classic. It has good beats but the lyrics are just weak ass nursery rhymes.

  • oh yeh and jay z blueprint is quality! gd list bruva!

nas illmatic needs to be there, wat bout public enemy??

another thing T.I is rippin it up lately!

  • 50cent get rich is a fucking classic u mugs, the chronic by dre is fucking brillaint and biggies ready to die is ultimate great! also wu tang clan is very solid! learn about hiphop

  • @ dopeneedlz: Guru is tight on Moment of Truth man

  • 50 Cent? Come on man

    How about Nas' Illmatic?

Or Blu & Exile's Beow the Heavens?

    Where's Madvillainy??

    Muddy Waters????

    please buy these albums

  • THis list is a piece of shit.... there songs are catchy but arent the best albums >.>

  • dude u gotta put illmatic up there but other than that dope list indeed

  • 50 cent is king. and if all the underground rappers are soooo good then why they dont sell so much :)?

mainstream rap ftw except lil wayne, soulja boy

  • People don't like to think. If they can find an activity that they don't have to think whilst doing, they will usually do that. A lot of people don't like Canibus because of songs like "Poet Laureate II" and a lot of people like 50 cent for his song "I get money"

  • they dont get rich becfuase the ratarded rich kids who listen to him dont understand the complex lyrics of underground, it is underground for a reason kids are looking for really bassy beats and shitty lyrics they can sing to represent they are "gangsta"

  • fuuuck where is The infamous

  • i agree but All Eyez on me from pac should have been on there and get rich or die tryin should have been higher
