i remember this bloody scragg talking about something hed call minie movies ...seems to me this king of queens has been blowing donal duck far too offen if u know what i mean this i fink u dooo and i dont just mean no no no no donal logggggwwww hahahahahah
I'm so sad that they're hanging it up after this next tour. So sad... This song sums up my feelings. Check the Priest site for details guys. I'll really miss this band.
Even though I LOVE Ram it Down, I will say that at times the drums on that album do make me cringe. Even so, the odd drum sound could never detract from the greatness of this song, or from this amazing album.
@LOONEYahahahahahaXD That's an interesting interpretation. I just take the lyrics literally. It seems the couple broke up but still has feelings and connected deep within thus fire burns below. Just because Rob is gay, you don't need to connect this song to homosexuality. It's simply a beautiful love song. : )
@LOONEYahahahahahaXD I don't know what you think the fire means, but it's universally known that a flame is an analogy for being in love with each other.
This song is so good that it's a shame it was recorded during the Ram It Down sessions. Ram It Down is notorious for having the worst drums of any of the Priest albums, and I agree. This song is phenomenal, but the drums sound like someone's hitting an inflated cellophane bag with a stick.
"Fire Burns Below" (Recorded during the 1988 Ram It Down sessions) you can "hear" Henrik Nilsson's -( engineer) influence and Tipton using Hamer Phantom GT model which was fitted with one EMG humbucker, not the Gibson from the Satined Class era
This has part of future of mankind in it i swear, but i love this song, its a good song. Sure there are better songs but its still got passion in it, so thats what i love :).

Huge Priest fan. But, I am sure most of the long term die hard fans will admit this is crap. There is a reason it never made it to a major released album.
The production sounds like its from the ram it down era. I'm pretty sure of that this is NOT from the Stained Class era becuase the drums didnt sound like that....
Alright, here it is: Do not make comments like 'Priest makes me hard' or mention ejaculation as a way of expressing excitement for the music. NO ONE wants to hear that shit!
ire Burns Below and Thunderroad SHOULD HAVE REPLACED the to bastard shit of Love Zone and Love You To Death, because they suck. If they was replaced Ram It Down would have been much better because the album itself is quite good. Both Love-songs are funny, but not good
Love Zone does NOT suck!! That song is actually pretty heavy and powerful...so he's talking about something other than power, anger, hatred, or war...SO WHAT?? It's still a very heavy and awesome song with great riffs and his voice still sounds amazing in it
They are pretty damn fun (Love Zone is awesome to play guitar to) but they are not good when comparing to other masterpieces... Just take Heavy Metal for example.
And yes. It's one of his best vocal performances
Just because of this im going to listen to Love Zone on my Ram it down LP haha...
dude... this song was recorded during ram it down sessions and it's just a bonus track in stained class... i mean just listen the sound... does it sound like 1978? it's 80's
the only problem is all of the unreleased bonus tracks are awesome and i cant understand why the wernt on the original albums, especially this one and livin bad dreamsoff painkiller.
Does anybody know when this was recorded? I noticed that many bonus tracks on Priest album reissues are from different albums/eras than the rest of the album, as they're mostly live versions of tracks from the other albums. This song doesn't sound like 1977/78, more like from the Ram it Down era, so I'm just wondering.
i believe that the song was written before Sad wings album but im not sure. i know it was recorded alot later than the album itself possibly '88 but who cares its the best on the album other than the realms of death.
If you want to play an instrument get started right away. The human brain has a small window for learning to play, although Glenn Tiptonof Judas Priest was about 20-21 when he picked up the guitar.
A Masterpiece. What sessions was it from, Ram it Down? I reckon Halfords singing about hell in this one. "fire burns below" sounds like Hell, the inner core! Anyway i love it!
look at the picture... it's from stained class (third studio album; 78) the album includes the classics exciter; heroes end, and better by you better by me.
Thanks for uploading. Since Stained Class isn't one of the 9 Priest albums I have and this is hard to find to computer this is the first time I hear this...
I thought it was from the '70s. Even the remastered booklet says from early in their career but the drum machine and some additional electric, acoustic, and classical guitars were added @ a later date
Stand and face each other Don't know what to say But that look in your eyes Give it all away You say you've got these feelings You can't put into words But you don't have to say a thing 'Cause I've already heard Give me one good reason Why this has to be That's all I'm asking for
