  • These videos are great! Shame about the music!

  • to the ones asking about y he paints it white and if it hides detail, please may i just clear it that he paints the back of the paper white, mostly because this paper has a uniform colour, so the white helps to prevent adhesive colour and basecolour showing through, to support my answer you can at 1:57, the bil mostly to the right can be seen at 2:04 turned around :)

  • BRO YOU THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!

  • Would that work on an Xbox 360 controller?

  • I am having trouble finding good quality photos of the bills can you provide a link to a good photo I would like to try this because it looks cool and go’s good with something I have been working on.

  • Hey Tony:

I'm a hunter. Can I use the "Rice Paper" technique to lay down a hunting montage on my pick-up with out having to remove my vehicle's existing finish?

  • Sir, is the paper used for the money printer on what i usually call tracing paper? i dont know what is rice paper....

  • @somwk if you watch the vid you can see the paper is also called tracing paper. it sez trace on the packet at the beginning :D

  • super d-bag

  • whats a good paint, thats better then createx? the more i use it, the more i hate it!

  • Real ballaz would use real $100 bills.

  • oneslowride.. did it rinkel on the light coats of clear? cuz some clears have to be put on super light coats. and TWO make sure the paints fully cured B4 clearing, what clear are you useing.

  • I tried this and my money laid down nice and flat till i cleared it. Then it wrinkled up. Any idea's? I even dusted on the first 2 coats.

  • do you have to spray them with white? and what dose the white spray paint do? it looks like you just dust them. im just worried about loosin all the detail.

  • how come you dust the bills with white spray paint B4 ?? it looks like you loose the detail when you add the white. dose the detail come back when cleared ?? love the vids and "F" the haters. they allways come out when your doin better then them.

  • where do you get those shapes of the bills? And where do yu get the rice paper. I cant find either.

    Thanks

  • How did you copy the bills in those deformed shapes and what type of paper did you use?

    thanks, brian

  • what are u sand it down with 800 grid

  • why did i feel like i was on acid or he was gunna punch me the whole time?? lmao

  • im doing this on some atv plastics can i use clea coat in a can ?

  • I tried just like u did n da video everything went well but as I let the car sit out n the sunlight the bills seem to shrink I put dupont clear over them

  • awesome! I cant wait to try this on a rc airplane.

  • how do you get the green clear flames on the black when i tried it you couldnt see the green what paint do you use just before the green is applied?????

  • wow, I always wondered how the use of dollar bill images were used in murals. It just looks to intricate to be painted.

  • wicked man check out church of the dark side baaaaangingggg bunnnggg

  • Thanks! good videos help alot.

  • Thats AWESOME

  • that's a very handy tip indeed, thanks for all the videos you've provided and I'm looking forward to seeing more in the future (top man!)

  • watch me videos, and giveme your opinions, thanks tony,i learn much with you tutorials

  • Hey we're trying to do this using tracing paper like the one you used in your video, but it seems to crinkle up when we spray the clear coat. Any suggestions?

  • @WAubD Maybe you had some air bubbles in your paper when you set it down on your project and when you painted on it the paint dried and where the air bubbles were at they crinkled up. Just a guess.

  • what airbrush gun are you using

  • what's this song ?

  • Hey man where did you get the pictures of the money? Your work is real cool!!

  • Wish you guys lived closed to Belgium so you could make one for me =( I never done this but looks awsome...

  • this it's just super nice but one question i can't find any pictures of those dollar bills on google or somthing like that, can you help me???

  • @revellmodels if you download the trial of photoshop and copy the image of the dollar bills and open them in photoshop there is an ability to warp the image. That should easily help you to attain the correct image you'd like. :)

  • @revellmodels just type in google pics 100 dollar bills floating and you find a lot of those

  • can you do this on a canvas

  • thanks for keeping it inspiring, great work!!!!

  • Is there anyway you could send me a link for the 100$ trick picture

  • Hey I am a total noob.

    What does clear coat do?

  • @Zaper692 its a protective seal and it makes it glossier.

  • What kind of spray glue did you use?

  • Sweet vid brother

  • How did you make those copies in the distortion?

  • awesome trick as usual. any tips on airbrushing a blow out? like a big bullet hole but 3d ing out.

  • @MrZiggy1979 had to sand it all off & start over ....just ended up repainting the whole hardhat the same color then getting the design printed on vinyl ,cut it out as a masking stencil because it was so complicated then i just sprayed white pearl inside the stencil, peeled it off & cleared it--the whole process with the rice paper was a pain & didn't work out for me....it cost me $ & time that was just thrown away, guess it's something you have to master before you do it for a customer

  • @dough957 You should never attempt to offer a service for a paying customer something you have never done or have not yet mastered or preformed several times! It makes you look stupid and 99% of the time you lose money! If you cannot afford the paint to practice you should not be even be doing this for pay. It seems to me you are bitching at hem for your mistake you should only post positive remarks unless what is shown is bad! and it is not.

  • @HGCGamersClub i agree with you 100%. i don't paint hardhats or helmets or do airbrushing for a living nor anything for that matter but i am good at painting cars thats why he asked if i could try to do it & i agreed as long as he paid for materials--the bully dog & tape was cheap but the automotive kandy is not cheap at all neither is the clear coat so basically i paid to paint the hard hat but in the end it turned out good i just wasn't able to get this trick to work for me

  • Can I use normal printer paper?

  • what kind of air brush do you use

  • Where can i find a photo like the one you used for the 100's?

  • what paint did you use

  • bunch of internet rambo's always talkin shit, why did u even watch these videos if u know more than him?lil bitches good job bro, nice tutorial.

  • Is that ableton in the background? Also whats with all these haters comments, keep doing what your doing mate, cause its interesting!

  • question man.. were do i go to find the 100 dollor bill online

  • @MrZiggy1979 the 100 dollor bill image is in google

  • any websites you can point us to where we can get those graphics ? you can spend a lot of time looking and just find mediocre graphics.

  • Brilliant!!! extremely clever, this will help my business out tremendously! thnx sooo much

  • this is amazing.i love hardstyle 2.wats the song

  • instead what happend was i put it on & it wouldn't stick --it kept peeling off ,then i got it to stick & you could still see the rice paper very clearly & it didn't disolve like i thought it would i did everything i could to fix it but it looks like ish so now i have to sand it back down & redo all the layers of candy because it's no way to match the paint--im not giving up yet but i need to have it finished within 2days---do you have any tips on getting this to work smoothly

  • i need help asap......i can paint cars but can't airbrush to save my life---i took on a job of paint a hardhat after how easy this trick looked in your video-- my plan was to use a candy paint do multiple coats then print out the emblem/decal on rice paper stick it on spray another coat of candy over it & the rice paper would just kinda disolve into the paint & ink on the paper would be a shade darker than the rest of the helmet & when i cleared it no one would be able to tell i used rice paper

  • @dough957 hey bro what was the out cum on it..? did you fix the problem

  • 5:16 epic

  • great vids ! ur smart you catch the harder parts of what u do and make it easy in a sense . great . i like watching ur videos cuz there good and easy to watch . im mkain some vids of what im doing for paint and its not the good editing like you got but its workin out .

  • Im surprised the clear doesnt hurt the print on the dollar bills like make the ink run. Is it a good idea to barley mist on the first coat of clear?Or does the green paint over the bills kinda seals the printing ink so it doesnt run?

  • The most disgusting music I have ever heard. The music makes the video unwatchable !!!!

  • THOSE SNEAKY BASTERDS!

  • It's Peter Brady from The Brady Bunch! :-p

Another great video. Thanks for making it! :-D

  • Who makes the two part clear coat that your using in this vid? Is it something that can be sprayed thru an airrbush?

  • Congrats Tony

Used ur techniques and stated making some side money.

Did some x boxes and even some old playstation 1's.

    Thanks

  • GREAT MUSIC WHAT I LOVE HARDSTYLE AND AIRBRUSHING!!!!!!!!!!! ; ]

and for those haters and trolls, he has a life and is probably earning more money than you could ever make!

  • @DjShuffleKid Not really. I don't make any money doing this stuff. I have a regular job. I just airbrush for fun and as a hobby.

  • @AirbrushTricks Too good for you to do it just as a hobby. You could definitely make some money doing this stuff, Diggin the video tutorials Btw!

  • @AirbrushTricks you should do this for a living because you are spot on the money i am going to try this technic on my rifle stock but with £50 notes keep up the great work and keep working on that dancing lol

  • @DjShuffleKid Meh, maybe he should make some dupe vids with some filthy dubstep, instead. Id dig that.

  • @Postghost OH YES!!! nice idea ; ]

  • @DjShuffleKid HARDSTYLE and AIRBRUSHING!!!!...my day is totaly made

  • nice headseat

  • Whats the song?

  • can u give me a link to what exact paper u use?

  • Stop being a douche with the intro. Just get to the point instead of dancing around like a fagtard.

  • so all you are really diong is gluing the image to the project and then the paint and clear coat acts as a sealer?

  • that fuck'n crazy man am doing that shit to my side mirrors

  • wats the name of that song again ?

  • ok now this is important on any video, make sure the music is at least three times louder than the narrator.

  • @captaindrywall LOL...Yeah, I'm tweaking the audio settings. You never really realise how loud it's gonna be until you finish.

  • @captaindrywall Im Dr.Drywall and yeah i agree ditch the flipin techno and the voulume

  • @captaindrywall Im Dr.Drywall and yeah i agree ditch the flipin techno and the volume

  • like this ;)

  • Basically decoupage I would think. Interesting. Never really thought about it for these types of applications. Nice tip. I do have to agree, though that the intro is kinda cheesy. But to each their own.

  • Twig WFT? Why the hate?

Tony thank you for the education!!! Not my type of thing but it's got me thinking of finnishes on my guitar stomp boxes. Peace and thanks again.

Oh but I will agree dam this music sucks but I'm an old fart. LOL

  • Excellent video Tony. Don't let some stupid comments change your style. You have your own style and it's funny and educational. I really appreciate your efforts in bring us this videos. People like you raise the value of the Internet. Thanks for your excellent job. If other people don't want to see or hear, go ahead and look others videos!! Music is awesome for this vid!!!

  • @Twiggerz95 i agree about the music, its shit... and tony talks like a fuckin cockhead. but , he is good at what he does, so nice one tony.... what is a propper job anyway???......takin it up the arse like you twigger, for £10 a shot????....

  • whats this song? it sounds perfect for a hardstlye dance

  • @chunjo100 its dj kazuya but i cant find him anywhere :(

  • my printer fucking ate the rice paper...wtf ..i quite

  • Love the music hardstyle for life.... Nice job

  • My favorite case wish we can see the rest of it painted the HAF 932 rocks.

  • @vlcspain4ever2 Une Auto-Air et Rice Paper.

  • im not even going to begin to describe the level of douche that intro hits... but what i am going to get into is how putting paper between your paint and clearcoat is going to lead to ridiculous problems in the future on a vehicle. dont try this at home kids. unless you are prepared to junk whatever it is you did this to.

  • @godofm3tal1 That's why the pros use rice paper because the clear coat soaks into it and you don't have any problems.

  • @AirbrushTricks as a 15 year painter, i can tell you that if its not paint, intercoat clear, flake, pearl, or candy, its got no business between your basecoat and clear coat. rice paper or not. now this may fly for test panels or xbox shells, you do that to a car and you WILL be redoing it later. would hate to see your car peeling up because some rice paper got between it. just my experience bro. just because it works in the present, doesnt mean it will work down the road. costly mistake.

  • @godofm3tal1 My sister has a rice paper image on the tank of her cycle that's been there almost 20 yrs and it's still like new, and it sees plenty of exposure to outside sun and weather. We had a Suzuki MC years ago that had vinyl striping from the factory on the tank under the clearcoat and when we sold it at 10 yrs old it was still perfect. Of course the clearcoat has to be good quality unlike the clear t hat automakers use that dries out and flakes off in 5 yrs.

  • @rhblakeman thats a motorcycle... A: those things rarely see daylight for most people, and when they do, its for short times before put back in their garages. people also take very good care of their bikes. especially with custom finishes. and its also just one image, which is still a weak link in the otherwise solid chain, but not "guaranteed to fail"... nothing is guaranteed.. but anything that is not a paint product is considered a "contaminant" and "could" affect longevity.

  • @godofm3tal1 Sees daylight regularly living in Phoenix and riding 350 days a year and parking it at work for 8-10 a day.

  • @rhblakeman funny, ive heard similar claims about the Maaco $300 specials. unfortunately, they too were over an internet connection incapable of furnishing substantiated proof of their claims. if youre telling me a clearcoat is supposed to last 20 years of baking in the sun every day, id like to know who produces the clear you use. because even PPG doesnt boast that kind of performance...

  • @godofm3tal1 You're perfectly entitled to your opinion no matter how much you sound like you are merely trying to create trouble.

  • @rhblakeman dude, if i was trying to create trouble, i could do it in many different places in many different ways besides coming on here and having a ridiculous and unproductive internet debate with people who obviously have no idea what they are talking about. ive been doing this for a long time. i do this to pay my bills and put food on my table. im not saying its a terrible idea for a fun project, or that it wont fly, im just saying dont try this with something expensive.

  • @rhblakeman its advice... take it, leave it, those are your choices... bitching about why im giving it is not an option... ive watched a lot of this guys vids, and this was the only one ive left a really concerned opinion on. lots of his shit is good. and hes a talented artist. but his methods are somewhat unorthodox in a professional automotive field. no doubt from lack of tools/products/experience. like wet sanding using circular motions... but i had to chime in on this.

  • what kind of adhesive are you using

  • @VelezJ20 I just used spray adhesive because this is a small project. You don't want to use any outside chemical on a big job cause it coul cause problems.

  • @AirbrushTricks A shot of clear coat down on the base and set the rice paper into/onto it works good but you have to be careful where you put your fingers to prevent damage to the base paint and dirty prints in the paint, plus you need to use a stippling brush to work it down to get the bubbles out. Let the clear coat you put on as adhesive to get really sticky then you can overcoat with the first wetting coat over the top. No foreign adhesives used that way and no interaction with the paints

  • @AirbrushTricks a ok and what recomond for a big project cause im planig on painting my truck and i would like to try it out precciate the advise by the way keep it up

  • I've been using waterslide inkjet decal paper for a while now and it's soooooo much easier to hide as it's super super thin and no worries of it lifting if the adhesive fails during highlight brushing. Rice paper is the same paper they make cigarette papers from, it is very fragile and if you arent careful it will jam in your printer. Waterside is on a paper backing that comes off when you soak it in water just like decals that come with model kits.

  • @rhblakeman Yeah, waterslide rocks but you have to do it on a light background, that's the only drawback.

  • @AirbrushTricks You have to consider the background when you do waterslide. With the bills you have you have being a light green background you should be able to get the background to stand out. There are occasions that you have to use an alternate, I've had to do the same with tee shirt transfers before they came out with transfer paper made for dark shirts (has a white layer already to print on). Everything has variables as you know so having 4 or 5 ways of doing things is best, and thin.

  • can u give a link of where you got the images for the money

  • @phatmonk6195 I got them off of Istock photo.

  • Hey Tony! Are you wacked man? Everytime I see you in these videos your pupils are Gigantic!! Huge! And do you think you could have pointed at the camera a couple more times within the last 10 seconds before the credits? lmao.

  • hey i have a question my airbrush is giving out a kinda wide spray so that if i try to make fine lines it makes a wide dot pls help !!!

  • @hanzithaking Ninja trigger control.

  • @AirbrushTricks and that is ?

  • tried this ended up wet sanding to much and messing the picture up

how thick do I have to spray the clear coat- it is a non-gloss if that matters

  • @Gumbie2009 give it 2-3 layers depending on how thick it is

  • @hanzithaking i got it now

  • @Gumbie2009 sweet :) what did you make ?

  • @hanzithaking native skull with full headdress

  • @Gumbie2009 cool :)

  • @hanzithaking yea if you want to see how it turned out its on my facebook Evin Nice other wise I will have a video up when I am done building my sks

  • @Gumbie2009 As thick as possible. Exactly because of what happend to you. That's why automotive clear is almost a must for this.

  • @Gumbie2009 The wet sand on the first few coats (after it hardens) is just to smooth the spray and dust out so you're only working the outer surface, you aren't trying to take the clear coat layer off at all. Mainly to smooth the coat so the next coat goes over a smooth surface otherwise the next coat makes the defect show even more. Satin or matte you still need to flatten the under coat with wet sanding and the final should be unsanded.

  • did you use autoair colors?

  • what is rice paper? could you use just normal A4 printingpaper???

  • @bboy0610 rice paper is extremely thin and fragile paper (also it can be eaten, but thats just a little fact)

  • @bboy0610 lol , no way... rice paper is like 10 to 100 times thinner as A4printing paper..

  • @bboy0610 if u use that paper ur mom has for cookin or youst that thin paper u kinda can see through use that :)

  • @bboy0610

You can but rice paper is much thinner so it doesn't bulge up uner your clearcoat.

  • Great music. Excellent tricks. Keep ut the good work my friend

  • Nice trick.

  • where can i get a page of the $100 dollar bill to print out

  • @superbikeboy01 -.- Google?

  • No new vids

  • what printer are you using??

  • the music is nice, what is it called?

  • @manuscorpion

    Hardstyle.

  • how come you use rice (or tracing) paper rathr than normal printer paper?

  • @daddyslittlesoldier its thinner and wont make big ridges

  • @daddyslittlesoldier It's much thinner.

  • Did you have to trim the paper to fit in the printer ?

  • @717YamahaR1 Depends on the size. You can get 8.5 by 11 at any craft store.

  • @vlcspain4ever2

Que es lo quieres saver el nombre de las pinturas y papel, o lo que dice de la tecnica?

  • neat...

  • i want this on my xbox..:(
