This always reminds me of how bad Sakuraba can be sometimes. Goddamn, whenever he's composing a Tales soundtrack, he seems to just fall asleep and not even try.

@triAceFanboy I can understand what you mean, but I personally think this is where Sakuraba shines. He does this style well. I do agree that he should branch out and try to steer away from this style and feel regardless of the game.

Ah, Tales of the Abyss, the second Tales game to make it's apparition in this list.

Considering the lack of 8-bit era and 16-bit era song though it makes one wonder when you started gaming.

I actually began gaming in the 16-bit era with Sonic the Hedgehog, however, my first RPG was not until the Playstation came out.

Wow! Me too. Actually, I began gaming with Sonic 2, and my first RPG I have ever played was Pokemon. However, Final Fantasy VII was definitely the first story-driven RPG I have ever played and beaten.

PS: Sonic 2, Final Fantasy VII, and only two other games hail as being my favorite video games of all time. Those two games I haven't played 'till recently, so that's quite an achievement on their part.

Oh, and those two games are Chrono Trigger, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

@REALmikegordan That was the same order for me, actually i played pokemon withouth knowing it was an RPG ( i was a little kid) then FF VII really captivated me and now im a RPG fanatic.
