  • "I fight in the name of, Justice"

  • my dw5 empires doesnt evel load a map, it just doesnt stop loading until you take the disc out, any ideas? oh yea and empire mode is just messed up

  • Well it could be one of two things, either the game is really scratched up or the game and system is kinda dusty. If its dusty, just try cleaning off the game and the inside of the PS2, where the disc spins and stuff, and see if that works. I kinda had the same problem and the disc was practically brand new, i just made sure everything was clean.

  • ZHAO YUN, HOW DARE YOU OVERTHROW YOUR MASTER?!?!?

  • Chang Sha on Empires, On XL and the normal version Battle of Yi Ling

  • i agree with SenoirMeow 2 and 3 are the best and more difficult

  • in my opinion this is better because you can be an officer and a ruler and use tatrics like ambushes or fire attacks, which i think is the best part

  • dw5 and 6 are shit compared to 2 and 3

  • is there a musou mode too or the empire mode is the actual musou mode?

  • The empire mode is the main attraction in this game. It's the replacement of musou mode for this game.

  • I think its cool that you can chooose whether to invade or defend, how many officers are in the battle and how the conditions are for the battle.

  • I hate that in the Empires games no one knows each other's names.

  • i was wondering which part is better?? dynasty warrior 5, Xtreme legend, or Empire??

  • i could do it 1 hand tied behind my back

  • why is there blue soliders

  • The generic soldiers in this game are set to random, so the colors most of the time wont match the officers that they support.

  • still fun right

  • Indeed, very much so, definitely one of the best spinoffs of the series at that point in time. Now with DW6, i guess to many that might take the cake.

  • @Nz0x ps2

  • i just got dis game on ebay!!! looks good(:

  • you cant, i have it and i thought i could use the bodyguard manual but i couldnt so i just got a PET TIGAA!!!!!

  • can u have private bodyguards in this one?

  • dude thanks for uploading this great video(I cant believe they dont sell it here in Greece but I ordered it from e-bay)

  • Your very welcome :-), and i just hope it was exactly to your liking. I also agree with how your going to get the game. I find it the best way to get them these days, since alot of the game stores, especially where i live, don't seem to have games like this too often.

  • lol Lu Xun got beat down by my 2 favorite characters XD

nice vid btw :D thinkin about gettin this sometime

  • Thank you :-). I definitely recommend getting it. The Empire mode is definitely fun.

  • i love to fight as lu bu

  • ooo can u play as generics??

  • Nah, i don't think you can. I think its just pretty much all of the main characters and created characters.

  • you can play as generics

  • yes

  • yes u can pretty much play as anyone u want

  • is this ps2?

  • Yes indeed it is, and using DVD Recorder to capture the footage.

  • on dynasty warriors 4 how do you earn horses?

  • you have to find them as special items like all the other special items. it sucks.

  • liu bei is my favorite

  • how do i skip a battle?

  • Not sure exactly what you mean. But in free mode, i dont think that you can do that. In empire mode, when an enemy army decides to invade one of your territories, you can just refuse to fight, however, if you refuse twice in a row, i think the cpu just simulates the fight, most likely causing you to lose that spot.

  • unless u have max troops and ebst occicers in game on thats spot the enimy kills them self

but if u dont like i never do they auto capture

  • Didn't bother to equip some items? Especially the horse used for generally traveling and the Tiger which I know no one can kill.

  • Nah, we didnt have hardly anything unlocked at the time we made this. We just had the reward stuff that gets gemmed in on the weps like attack +3 or musou +2, something like that. Just pick up and play really.

  • Tiger sucks. Yeah, it can't die or whatever, but it's not really much of a killing machine. At least, not enough for me to equip it. In DW5 I always go in (usually) with the basic 4 items and another item I think fits the character: The Peacock, Dragon, Tiger, and Tortioise Amulets (Life, Musou, Atk & Def, respectively). It's always seemed to me like a no-brainer since I first picked up DW3. Just my feelings.

  • alrite so i was just wondering if u can chnage the color of your armies by any chance. or the color of the little regions u have. whenever i go into the empire mode am always blue colored. please respond if u have any idea

  • TY. and im assuming empires is best played by 2 ppl, or it can be really tough to take over everyting.

  • Indeed 2 players would be great especially if your going up against a bigger army which is most likely the case in the very beginning, but it isn't really necessary to have though, but it would make it more enjoyable :-).

  • omg... i dont get it.!!!! d.w5, d.w5:extreme legends.... d.w5:empire!!! r dey all da same crap or totally different of wat?!?!? jesus christ i dont know wich one to buy! some tell me if dey r different or totally da same or just alittle bit similar?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! plzzzzzzz tell meeee cuz i dont wana buy da same game -.- plzzzzzz replyyyy somebody!!!

  • All 3 sorta are the same with some key differences, just depends on what your looking for. DW5 is pretty much your typical DW5 that lets you play the story of the character you choose in his/her important battles. Empires has the empire mode where you take control of one army and try to conquer all of china. Extreme legends has an mode where you create an officer and build him up through the ranks of an particular army. I'd probably get the original game first to see if you like the gameplay.

  • welll i just got this game and i tried your thing and it works. but in free mode you begin with 2 groups of troops but that sucks. but the best thing to do is on empire mode get the set ambush tactic and use that in battles and you get loads of men and they follow you around.

  • can you have men folowing you around on this game?

  • Indeed you can. I think you have to press Start and go to the officers option and just highlight one of the officers and you direct them to do either attack an enemy, guard a base, protect and ally, or move on their own. We didn't do it primarily due to the time restraints and all.
