For some reason, jogging makes you gain weight at first. I think its because you're catching up on the calories or something you're losing? I remember reading something about it. Give it some time. :) And try to eat less carbs!
Interval cardio work is the best way I found to lose weight. I lost 15 pounds in a couple months time doing it this way along with weight training. The weight just fell off. One minute as fast as you can, one minute at a resting pace. 30-45 minutes a few days a week, in addition to weight training. Don't be afraid of weights, you won't bulk up, and you'll end up with a beautiful, toned body.

NO EXERCISE in the world is going to target belly fat...you cannot lose fat in a specific area. Work out, eat healthy, etc....and you'll lose fat gradually, but you can't target your tummy. Really misleading title..
@Superawesomeaccount1 actually, priscamolotsi is right. when you train your bellymuscles, the muscles get stronger, but you don't loose the fat. since the fatholding layer is on top of the muscles (or something like that)
@44mariaros not more than your quads would. so running/jogging is a far better exercise for losing fat.
oh and spot fat removal exercises(work outs) like you said belly muscles would burn the belly fat,not true its a misconception.
all you can do is work your muscles so they burn fat(given a proper diet) and let your body decide what part of your body fat goes first. btw abdominal fat is the hardest to shed. trust me i know

@agiinka If you do these exercises vigorously, of course you shall start to turn your metabolism rate up and hence lose fat. These exercises, however, are not designed to be done at a Speedy Gonzalez rate; you will end up injiuring yourself very, very badly if you do them incorrectly. You will be able to tone beautifully with these exercises, but add some cardio, even brisk wakling for 20 minutes, 5 times a week will do the trick! More intense cardio will burn more fat.
@priscamolotsi when you tone the belly muscles, it helps u burn fat. Lean muscles burn fat. When u do ur cardio, only fat in areas with lean muscles are usually burned. Hence the title: How to lose belly fat with exercises.
i run everyday and i have never lost weight instead i gain weight
