TO EVERYONE WHO IS AFRAID OF FLYING: DO NOT BE! Many people are scared that the pilots arent trained well. Take this from me: THEY ARE! My father is a pilot with jetBlue, formerly with TWA. I've seen his training material. You would be SHOCKED at how much they have to go trhough besides flying the plane from A to B. They memorize weights-every kind regarding a plane you can imagine-speeds, emergency ops, etc. I love flying, and have been going since I was 3. I was NEVER ONCE scared flying!
To all haters - any landing is a rough landing for me...
I hate flying, we came down in light turbulence, I was wondering if I would get to see my kids again, I admit 30 flights later that it was no big deal but it was rough for me. Shut the fuck up critics. Enjoy the reverse thrusters, wind shear and bouncy, crunching landing, which cannot be properly represented by the camera on a PPC Phone.

I landed there on Alaska Air in October - runway seemed rougher than Detroit's back in the 70's. Other than that it looked OK to me.

To all other nervous flyers, this flight WAS relatively normal. I have to admit, I hate take-off much more than landing.

Jet Blue kicks ass... Big comfy leather seats, plenty of leg room, snack cart & drinks and 36 channels of DirecTV. Who could ask for more on a plane?

the jets back sections will fold in and the thrust will blow out the back and rebounded frontwards causing drag to slow the plane. Thx,matt

What is so strange about the engine reverse? That's SOP when you land; deploy speedbrake (usually happens automatically), and reverse thrust. Duhhhh.
