  • E vocês fizeram vídeo desse espetáculo no Teatro Amazonas? Se tiver posta aí. Valeu.

  • Why is there a random clip of Elsewhere on this video?

  • What ever happen to the white chick? I never saw her in other movies after that. Actually, what ever happened to everydody. Nobody really became hollywood famous. Only Ice-T somewhat.

  • Ozone rocked that shit!Who would have known a German techno outfit would have such a profound influence on the birth of hip hop.

  • @21diy

    Damn, I meant Turbo!

  • looks like all the "street contestants" copy this to get through on sky 1 got to dance

  • Anyone know what the name of the song is or the band when the guy is Dancing with the Broom?

  • @ssargman tour de france by kraftwerk

  • Tour de France remix by Kraftwerk - Classic

  • Enjoyable and memorable!

  • this is it the roots of bboying turbo ozone popping taco popping pete the legends of it all well no all the legends cant name them all like electric boogaloos and the rocksteadycrew

  • These are the guys that used bboying to get payed. Rock Steady is still hosting jams and battling. No seen Turbo ozone still this film.

  • @wtfucrazyass00 These arnt the roots of bboying, the roots are from 70's bronx dudes who started locking, california dudes jumped on break dancing after it was already popular.....

  • @777yojoe wtf dude the only dude who is true californian is pete......taco,ozone and turbo r originally from the east coast...........

  • @777yojoe True, but pop lockin did originate in Cali.

  • @iconpoet Pop lockin did not originate in cali homie, pop lockin came from newyork gangbangers from the mid to late 70's...dudes were coming out of jail and tried to create a non violent form of battle for the next generation...california dudes was wearin straight up gay ass clothes from the 70's era mixed with this Homo-crossdressing style early 80's gay underground culture...just look at breakin you can see that shit....NY freakin saved cali niggas from ultimate weirdness...

  • @777yojoe Lockers - from "Campbellock dancers", founded by Don 'Campbellock' Campbell.

Started by himself & Toni Basil around 1971 or so.

You fail at history, my friend.

  • comparatively, these were days of innocence. What would I pay for it to come back?

  • Good question.

  • fo sure!!!!!

  • You aren't wrong.

  • I think the consensus is that most people remember the broom scene more than anything else in the movie.

  • Last 2 min. is great, people listen this sound, look this dance, U la la!!!

  • 4:37 is so priceless.......lol i love this movie so much =)

  • just saw this movie for the first time the other day and boy did i enjoy it.only one thing was a huge fuckin bummer for me..the white chick gay ass friend.....ok i get it he's queer and he's here but shit man why do i have to pay........i mean he doesnt even have a pivotal role in the movie...they couldve wrote the whole fuckin thing without that guy.here i am joe q. public watching the movie sayin this is fuckin awesome theres nothin that could ruin this....and then "THAT GUY" shows up.."FUCK".

  • Haha, metal spikes for b-boying. What year was that?

  • Kraftwerk broom dance is awsome......

I've seen that lad at the end perform before but don't know where or when

  • Um show de bolA, SHOW DE DANCE.

  • Comment removed

  • I LOVE THE BROOM SCENE WITH SHRIMP!

  • O Z O N E.........LAWD JESUS!!!!

  • I dont care wat anybody say, but the reason there is even a movie called "Beat street" is because of BREAKIN part 1 and 2 this movie was the original!!! awsome movie. Beat Strret was great! but BREAKIN WAS MORE SPECIALL!!!! pure MAGIC!!!!!!

  • If u compare the skill level of the breakdancing sequences in this movie compared to that of the movie Beat Street. Beat Street wins hands down. Breakin should of got some breakers from NYC to help out.

  • i like em both for diffrent reasons...why be an ass about it?

beat street had better breakin altho they only had 1 good scene...but beat street didnt have Turbo & his broom scene

  • they were my hero's 25 years ago....ah the memories...brilliant..love the song too..

  • just watched the movie, I don't understand why they first learn special k, break moves, and then when she dances she just does the ballet/jazz dance act. well anyways very cool movie especially for back then.

  • Meanest movie ever

  • type in old man poppin

watch my 38 old cousin in a white shirt

    he good

  • looks like an old michael jackson video...

  • What! No pumas or shellfront addidas wit fat laces?

  • i love at 1:34 dance still hot

  • love turbo's shoes! even his clothes back then were fashionable for today

  • i wish they had breakin like this in my town, how cool to go into town and see this happening. that's an idea my council could pay people to break dance in public. that would be awesome, especially for street kids

  • ozone sukks

  • Yup. But I guess back then he was good looking and talented(acting wise?!?!) enough to play the part. Boogaloo shrimp kicked the fuck outta that fool.

  • What a great film loved it then and still do. How things have changed as young people dancing on a street corner was so cool. Now its gangsters doing drive by shootings selling drugs and making the streets such a bad place. Why dont they watch this film and see the good that came out of a film like this. Dancing didnt kill but the so called modern gangsters do. What a bad world we live in now. I miss the 80's so much.

  • lol n.w.a killed the streets

  • this opening song brings back so many memories!!! thanks for posting!

  • hahahha dave chapelle copied that guy with the broom in one of his skits on the chapelle show hahah

  • Breakdance was just that, cool as it was/is, people really injured themselves during the initial hype of it all and probably still do.

  • Guys can anyone help me where can I find this in DVD thanks

  • netflex or sumthing like that

  • Bestbuy has a three or four movie pack that has Breakin, Breakin 2, beat street and wildstyle in it..

    i dont know song 4

  • song named "Heart of the beat" by 3-V

  • 3rd song is Chaka Kahn

  • It's actually Rufus & Chaka Khan

  • Cocoa is the little Bu's name. That little kid was the baddest dancer over people tice his age. This movie will live in my teenage memories forever and I'm 38. There's been talk of a comeback movie. No doubt they's have to have Elsewhere in it.

  • is this maybe the movie where van damme in the backround stands?..

  • ye it is with van damme.he dances like a fag in the crowd

  • 80'a breakdance Rules!!! Awesome movie!! PLEASE RE-RELEASE IT ON DVD! I'LL MAKE A LINE TO BUY IT!! MISS DA 80'S EVERY DAY BECAUSE OF GREAT MOVIES LIKE THIS ONE!

  • roflmao this movies ancient its based in the 80's or released in the 80s and this is where it all started by ozone and turbo..

  • dude such mis informatin cannot be allowed.

the start was "wild style" in 82 or 83 and "beat street" sealed the the deal, "breakin and breakin2" were the major movie studios trying to cash in of what they thought was a fad!

  • łał super! :)

  • chaka khan rocks big time!!

  • Whats the last one song???please help me,

  • song named "Heart of the beat" by 3-V

  • Increible !! Esta totalmente Quebrado !! jaja

  • Totally and uterly the best dance movies ever! Want an need them badly!

  • The soundtrack;if you can find it; is Sick. It's got all hear and some early EARLY ICE T

  • Whats the 3rd song ? the last one ?

  • 3rd song is Rufus (w/ Chaka Khan), "Ain't Nobody." Great song which never appeared on any original albums other than the "Breakin'" Soundtrack--didn't even make the Rufus greatest hits album, strangely. You CAN find it on Chaka Khan's Greatist Hits album, "Epiphany".

  • where did u find it? need too know badly want break dance and electric boogaloo! HELP!

  • that's "crazy leggs" at the end.....i meet him when he was in the movie "you got served"

  • the wee man at the end makes the other people before him look shite

  • wtf was that shit at the end?

  • It's what we call break dancin!

  • Yes and I used to sport good hats too!

    Because of Ozone's like him!

    Oh yeah...

    and wolf tails too!

    Only good and true ones!

  • omg he's so hot!

  • John Travolta, dirty dancing, paula abdul and pop idol hold no water when it comes to dance routines like this. Long live the ole skool. No one one does it better!

  • was that Lela Rochon?

  • Yes! Her and O-zone where married in real life for a brief time during the 80's.

  • Oh snap! I didn't know that Lela Rochon was married to 'Shabba-Doo' Quinones!

  • It's cool to look back at old movies and tv shows and see how people got started.

  • this is one of the best film i have ever seen

they dance so well i m very much impressed and amazed too. i like the head spinning, and the break dance.

  • the guy at the end of this tape...

shows us why it's called BREAK dancing

and he does it very well I might add!

  • I guess thats why they call him crazy legs.

  • One of the best dancing movies....EVER!

  • This dance looks sooo much better when danced to the real song (if not...so much closer than others I've heard)

  • BEAT STREET was East Coast NYC all the way! BREAKIN was West Coast, California. Each had their styles

  • vc me emocionou com este vt valeu Ed

  • Edmundo, esse filme representa prá mim muitas lembranças de um tempo prá lá de bom na minha vida. Valeu.

  • beat street is better cuz of the crews but turbo is tight

  • en el minuto 4:37 el maestro pega altas caripelas eh, jojojooooooooola

  • Breakin was a great Movie, but average for a breakdance competition stage. Beatstreet was an average movie , with a great dance-off theme. If you were innocent and moral back in the 80's,

then Breakin was really fun to watch.

  • oh ok, its just that i think BEAT STREET is the best one!!!! every body seems to love beat street the most, because it was real hip hop movie, and showed the real culture of hip hop

  • Actually the best hip-hop movie from that era is WILD STYLE. It's mostly about the writers (graf artists), but that movie is REAL. Fab 5 Freddy, Zorro, Busy Bee, Double Trouble, Fantastic, Cold Crush. Wild Style used the real pioneers. Every hip-hop fan should watch it.

  • best movie breakin 1 and 2

  • Its funny because I was 10 when this came out and I always thought this movie was in NYC until I got older and realized it was Cali

  • u couldn't tell it was cali by all the palm tree's and the beaches they showed?

  • he was 10... but it wasnt funny.

  • italo bboy

video massa chega me da vontade de dança!!

  • wow, I remember when that #%!*& came out, dude I was 12 years old, Turbo blew my mind and still does.... "Breakin" is a dope movie

  • thats what I like to see awesome and the end song with David eleswhere ^^

  • Pure quailty !!

  • who knows who plays the last song named the hart of the beat? thanks

  • This movie is still dope!!! I love them both! Breakin' 1 and 2

  • Damn dey wuz dressed TACKY AS HELL!! but hey datz da 80'z for yo ass!! hahaha =p

  • Oh DAMN...I went to see 1 and 2 of Breakin'. Both are CLASSICS!!!

  • sigh, what's that shit at the end.

  • micahel "Boogalo shrimp" chambers a.k.a turbo is a awsome dancer, the broom dance is legendary

  • yep... thats blood ^^

  • Alfonso Ribeiro is on there right?

  • Thats the original C-walk at 1:44. Or the GLIDE as we used to call it!

  • Is that Lela Rochon at 1:57

  • yep she going with shabba back then

  • WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT

  • Theres a number 3 not only numer 2 dumb asses

  • I have to agree with Doc--Breakin was terrible--the sad part is that they had some great dancers in the movie but Ozone and Special K were not them. Ozone's moves were SO corny. Turbo and Baby Nate--they could dance the rest of them garbage, except Van Damme.

  • Man you fucking stupid. You don't know what the hell you talking about, you jive turkey. All these niggas can dance, this movie is a classic sucka.

  • You are right Special K was dope. Jackoff!

  • al chile se discute cabron el changuito , baila poca su pinche madre

  • emmmmm...i dont remember elsewhere on breakin!haha

  • i remember i was in love of linda dickey jaja,

  • Face facts, 'Beat Street' was waaaaaay superior to this. For starters, it had all the real New York pioneers in it. Secondly, it was all about Breakin', instead of just Lockin' and Poppin'. When I was a little kid, my sister and my cousin went to see 'Beat Street' at the Cinema, and asked me if I wanted to go with them, and I said "No"!!!!!!! I've always regretted it, as I'm sure that movie would've changed my life.

  • LMAO! I'm havin the same debate with a dude on this same topic...when will people realize Breakin was WACK and Beat Street was a 'realistic' movie?

Breakin is ok for nostalgic purposes but a Beat Street competitor? NO WAY!

  • I love this movie it is way better then Beat Street

  • no beat street is miles better but this is a good film

  • Have you seen the Whole movie? Have you seen both?

  • so Shabbadoo was better than Boogaloo Shrimp...now youre buggin. even Rerun was better than Shabbydoo. word to your mother

  • Turbo could pop but Shabadoo and that wack lockin shit had to go. Special K was fugly and Beat Street was a better movie... but Breakin was first. wtf was that dude having the seizure at the end of the clip?

  • dont diss on shabba doo homes, he was part of the Lockers during the 70's and was very influential in poppin. You could even say Boogaloo learned some stuff from Shabba

  • I agree with everything EXCEPT the Special K part...dude, she was Not ugly...youre buggin.

  • why is there a scene from kollaboration 05' at the end? that doesnt match breaking at all..wtf..crazy wankers

if anyone wants to meet bruno falcon from electro rock in breakin' hes at homeland in long beach every monday night poppin' away

  • Watchung this makes me feel as if I have to bathe. It has a dirty look to it.

  • kool .formed various groups old skool b bhoyin ,made stars in there eyes. still breakin at 46years windmills the lot, kid kool old skool .respect to all, poppers .later dudes

  • This is some hard core old school.. It brings back all the good memories.. Wicked

  • I love Breakdance ive loved it since i was as little girl and now my kids love it even more than i did!!! i still wanna marry Turbo lol.

  • ANIT NO STOPIN USSSSSS!!!!NO STOPINNNNNNN!lol LOVE THAT SONG!

  • I just song just what you wrote... Hearing your words.

  • i have that movie..its aight...old school lol
