  • do you ever ride it or just the red one

  • @BeastlyWarrior228 Before 2011 I rode my red '89 250R in all my videos, but that quad is retired now and to save my camo plastics, I put my '89's red plastics on this LRD quad. Ive been riding this LRD 300R quad all throughout 2011. Check out the last 30 or 40 so videos Ive uploaded, they're all recorded while riding on this quad.

  • i like the camo but where i ride ill get shot

  • i absolutly hate 2 strokes but this is one that i would love to have. best damn 250r ive ever seen

  • @fucaduc95 Why dont you like 2 strokes? Cause you cant ride a real bike? Try a Ktm 500 mx and you will shit your pants!

  • @Liberalsuck100 i just dont like sound 2 strokes make and the uneven power distribution. i like 4 strokes where you have even power through all the gears.

  • @fucaduc95 250 and 500 2 strokes have a little smoother power delivery. How can you not like the sound of a 2stroke? Man your nuts!

  • @Liberalsuck100 i just like the deeper sound of a 4 stroke instead of the higher more whining sound of a 2 stroke.

  • @fucaduc95 , 4 strokes do deliver consistent power but they just dont scare me like 2 strokes do. the powerband is the best part.

  • finally someone with the same shocks as me, i think theres somin wrong with mine, can u post a vis of u pushing the bike down and letting go then pull it up and let go, cus mine is really soft, maybe too soft and when i turn the adjust thing it doesnt do anything :S plzzzz

  • @TrevortonOffroad And I don't use nerf bars because I don't race. The main purpose of nerf bars is to keep other quads tires out of the area between your front and rear tires. On the trails, they are a pain in the ass, they are one more thing that could come loose or break. They hinder your ability to put your foot down on the ground if you need to back the quad up. And they're dangerous if you get your foot stuck in the nets. Pro racers have died from getting their foot caught in their nerfs.

  • nice bike, im surprised you dont have a rear skid plate or nerf bars. where did u get your vapor gauge

  • @rocksalot1031

I stopped using a swingarm skidplate a few years ago after I got sick of em hanging up on shit. There's nothing worse than shearing off a swingarm mounting bolt or two while your out on the trail. And then there's the bullshit you have to do to get those sheared bolts out of your swingarm. Plus you lose a ton of ground clearance with the plate. Without the plate, all I have to do is not hit my brake rotor or sprocket. I haven't bent either since I stopped running a plate....

  • @TrevortonOffroad When I see a rock in the trail, I just make sure I center the rock so it doesn't hit my brake rotor or sprocket, its easier than it sound. Also make sure I lift my ass off the seat just in case I do hit the rock. I can buy a used 250R rotor for $20 shipped. In the 3 or 4 years I haven't ran a swingarm skid plate I'v never bent a rotor yet. And we ride A LOT and this area is well known to be very rocky. I have hit my brake rotor a few times and so far have done no damage......

  • @rocksalot1031 Im not sure where I got the Vapor gauge, but I think it was purchased from Rocky Mountain ATV.

    Thanks for the comment.....

ps, I hope to have a lot more video of this quad uploaded real soon. Its currently out of service with a bent rear shock.

  • such a sexy beast!

  • lol!! 1:51 "RArf arf arf arf!! shut up!!!! "

  • @TrevortonOffroad

Bike looks great man... My front a-arms were Bill Ballances from one of his 08 race bikes...I bought the bike for the arms, swing arm, and Ohlins PDS shocks...sold the rest and broke even...lol...the arms and swingarm needed a powder coat, and the swingarm needed some stress cracks TIG welded, but other than that good to go... The uppers have heim joints, which is pretty rare - not on the standard production arms... It handles great!!

  • Im running ARS-FX l/t on my YFZ front end...love it...

  • And thanks for subbing. I plan on shooting a lot more ATV footage this upcoming riding season.

If anyone has any questions about this quad, please feel free to ask.

  • nice quad! but whats the point of having smaller back tires than the front?

  • That is such a beautiful quad! You deserved to win QOTM for sure!!
