hey Luke! Great video...doesnt the multi-tasking chew up your battery like really fast? im not so sure, but my mate got his iphone just a few weeks back and used it for about 10 minutes (yeah he got the legit OS 4 on it) and his battery dropped to 94%, which is kinda pathetic.. we took it slightly thinking its just messing around with us.. but now that I see ur video.. at 0:45 u have 100% battery and at the end i think u have 96%?. he was on doodle jump notes and safari. i guess the apps matter?

Hey Luke! Nice video. I am sure you must be testing out the OS and I wanted to ask you, are you noticing a snag while sending SMS? There is some random screen tearing(shifting actually) while the message is being sent. So when the status bar showing the sending progress updates, the screen goes a little nuts. Is it just my phone, or is this a bug?

From my understanding, the multitasking apps aren't actually 'running' in the background they are just in a saved state process. The only processes that will continue running are the 6 or 7 APIs they announced, Audio, VOIP ect. So having 8 or so applications running in the background really doesn't drain the battery faster than having just one application running.

If it didn't take over the double home click, I would love the multitasking, but I use iPodPop to make my iPhone act like the iPod Touch. I think I'll stick to jailbroken multitasking, can you turn off the native multitasking?

@drumstyx6464 not sure, i was wondering that myself yesterday. multitasking isnt really a huge feature i need, so I would love to be able to turn it off and conserve more battery life and performance.

Hey Luke. Is it ok if I ask you something? What are the specs on a normal mac book. Im planning getting a AlienWare gaming pc but Steam (A game client just in case you dont know) Has just been put on the mac, Would buying a cheaper mac experience any lag during games. Examples of games I play on my machine. Left 4 Dead 1 &2,Hl2 Tf2. Tfc. And a couple more. Hope you can answer my questions. Thanks and awesome video. I might become a developer soon so I can get this.

@clintfrakington I run steam on my MacBook Pro with 4 GB or ram and it runs fantastic. The current white macbook has 4gb of ram I think so you should be good if you want to get a mac!

I have a couple of questions. You showed the zoom, focus & video on the camera, does this apply to the 3g as well? Does it offer tethering yet? Will I be able to call land lines and mobile phones via skype?

@TheAppleGuy11 tap to focus does not work on the 3g because it doesnt have the new 3gs camera and i am not sure about zoom. You will be able to call landlines with skype, and also recieve calls on skype when the application isnt running in the foreground.
