  • Interesting. Never knew Indian animation has risen to such quality.

  • Outsourcing advocated by mainstream media (NYT, WP, etc.) has brought a slow death to American economy. It has profited the rich who reside in Dubai, evading taxes while strangulating the working and middle class.

Indians have foxed & conned the US politicians and businessmen. Indian Lobby is something never mentioned but is at hard work in DC. Look around you - Surgeon general is Indian. More and more high level jobs are given to indians including Obama aides.

  • "2 years of practice they can compete with anyone in hollywood ". I think success has gone to Tapaas head or he is mentally challenged. If this is the philosophy of the founder of a company then Indian animation is bound to failure. Americans have 80 years of animation exprience behind them. they have unparalled skillset in areas like color theory , 2D animation , software engineering and storyboarding and creativity. Lets be humble and work at getting better rather than lay false claims.

  • @RenderMonster Indian companies have won many animation/special effects awards (even golden globes). Apparently his company can compete and even win against American companies in award shows that are run by Americans (and meant to be watched by Americans).

  • I run a small animation company in connecticut. India produces crap animation. It makes me sick to see these people get the jobs that americans should have. Our prices are coming down INDIA ... Im hoping someday we just cut off all production over there.

  • @skully68 Hahahahahahahahaha......keep talkin...ur making me laugh...:)

  • @skully68 If it makes you sick to hear the truth then go see your doctor.

  • its time for animators all over the world to move to India!

  • LOW COST_.its a competetion in business .n its common in anywhere as here ;dq is also doing home projects n marketing worldwide, like what disney ect.r .doing for a low cost..it should maintain the standards at the same time business.oufcourse US also doing some businesses for low cost, to overcome the competetion

  • Our government has clogged the pipes of innovation. Lobbyist for large corporations force law makers to make the easy choice. The easy choice typical lacks the proper planning.

With all the new fangled internet social media. The citizens of this great country should be able to form a voice louder than the one percent that controls it.

All these large banks and auto companies should be split into several small companies to force competition.

  • Wonderful. All the money in the U.S. that isn't in the pockets of the corporate money grabbers is feeding India and making them wealthy, while the U.S. starves. Pretty soon, the only people in this country who have jobs at all will be politicians and big business CEOs.

  • It is not Cheap country or cheap people But the developed are using the factor of production in an efficent manner. Anybody can use such skills if they like. And bcz of this factor people get a low priced product with quality made by quality minded people

  • cheap country cheap people and cheap price

  • country is not cheap, people and prices only..

  • This guy is a paki ... Pakis hate and envy india ... and hence the comment ...

Dont worrry too much about it

  • Lol, Americans big up India all the time, now these people are pissed when jobs are outsourced,

  • You can't blame India for stealing your jobs, they just offering man power to those who needs it.

You should blame the company who outsource their business to India for being greedy.

Human are greedy anyways, it's a sad truth.

  • Wow. What a horribly oppressive working environment.

  • Americans: asleep at the wheel

  • Man, I honstly don't like to see this as an animator myself. They are basically taking away jobs from North America...

  • I'm glad , indians are hard working people with good values and they are really sympathic. With the eventual fall of the dollar north america middle class as we know it today will disapear. The world will become more equal in a near futur if we don't try to stop it with war.Outsourcing help the world in general .Sorry for egocentric nationalist westerner but they will have to underdestand we are not better than asian or indian people.I wouldn't say the same thing for Africa.

  • How many more industries can India steal off the west by paying the workers 50 cents an hour.

  • As long as north american workers demand 20 dollars an hour for doing even small jobs. Know this, americans had no real competition from overseas for a long time and they had a good life. And then came Toyota and Honda and you know what happened to Ford and GM. After Japanese, it's Indians and Chinese. You gotta compete now.

  • @ Krispycrunk

If you look at it from a purely business standpoint, outsourcing jobs to Asian countries is perfectly good move. Indian workers don't force American companies to relocate — economics does.

Asians do what what any rational people would do in their position. Meet demand. India's low cost labor is a resource just like Texas oil is a resource for the US.

My point is: India doesn't seal. It does what it can to feed it's people.

Don't hate da playa, hate da game.

    Peace!

  • as for someone who lives in america and trying to get into computer animation, frankly this scares me. in the future if idia does become a "large hub" i would not be able to get a job in the us because the position i'm looking for is being outsourced.

  • Outsourcing might be practical for some companies but what will be the long term results for North America as a whole in years to come.

  • north america is losing power day by day, it seems ?

  • @graphicartman unemployment for us

  • @graphicartman

    Unemployment.

  • Disney is garbage anyway.

  • I second that

  • giv sum respect 2 ur BAAP LOG !!!
