The ethics committee should get off their butts and do their job. Let the chips fall where they may. This dragging stuff out is totally political. Get it out in the open, do what needs to be done, and move on. The only reason to hold things up at this point is to use it in the elections, I don't believe that is the right motivation. The ethics committee investigating such matters are in fact not politically motivated, and are completely bipartisan. Both Rangel and Waters are corrupt, arrogant, elitist, and amoral. The committee is doing both of them a favor by allowing them to resign rather than be taken down. If this were any other non elitist class of commoner, they would have allready been in jail awaiting trial, with a near guarantee of conviction. Pathetic.
