the guy in the hole is a spotter..............the excavator operator has limited visibility so the man in the hole is making sure he doesnt hit the pipe or dig in the wrong area.....good video!!!!
@nickkal100 Thanks for the comment! The spotter must have a lot of confidence in the operator, since a jerk of the controls could crush the spotter's skull.
