How to Fix Push Notifications on Jailbroken iPhone / iPod.

Like everyone else, I've been trying to implement the Push Doctor fix, which as far as I can tell is the only fix that actually works, but have been unable to obtain a certificate to successfully install it. I've been watching the cert counter for quite some time and as far as I can tell, Anathema has stopped providing them making this fix effectively useless for everyone that's left. I've tried the insanelyi repo and push doctor but that seems to generate errors repeatedly. Any ideas?

how do you know if there are certs becuase i always get 2 errors and i wanna know when certs are available

@sulross30 If pusher takes long and the button just gets dull. It means that push notifications are not enabled.

Go to settings-->notifications and add iPusher to Notification Center to get the message from iPusher. After you add iPusher to notification center and get the successful message, just to make sure go to Settings>Messages and turn off your iMessage. Repeat the same process for FaceTime, now reboot your iPhone again and turn both iMessage and FaceTime on from Settings & it should work. Ignore when it says "Waiting for Activation". Just go to homepage and try it.

@GamerPhobia24 don't lock your screen when adding sources, Locking your screen when adding sources mostly end up with errors.

Do i have to delete all the apps, before i install Push Doctor?

@masimbamishima it's good if you delete all apps, especially the one's which uses push notifications. But before installing push doctor check whether certificates r available or not, if no certs then don't install bcoz you'll always get error.

@masimbamishima Every iPhone has a unique certificate which gets removed when you unlock or jailbreak it. Push doctor helps you get new certs...

The counter says 0 certificates available.. do u have any idea when they will be available, i really need this tweak as i am always busy with work and i have to run my business page and answer peoples queries on emails and facebook..

What should I do if I get error messages all the time if I try to install Push Doctor? I already removed the apps I could... :(

@M4rcushun First check whether the certificates are there available or not, because if there are no certificates available its not gonna work. To check go to this link cmdshft(dot)ipwn(dot)me/blog/?­p=481 and see on LEFT side (There will be a counter). Download push doctor only if certs are available.

Download it from nerv repo only, If error occurs, keep on downloading again and again until it downloads successfully.
