How I found this I have no idea but this is ignorant. I took Adderall for 7 months and now Dexedrine for about 8 months. IT DOES NOT MAKE YOUR SMARTER.

It might be able to keep you awake for a day or two yes and increase your ability to focus your attention however this can be achieved without drugs for people without ADD.

Also you have to realize that once you have been awake 2 days on this shit you may be physically awake but mentally exhausted.

Moderation works best with this drug.

I do notice residual concentration when I take breaks from it. For example I sometimes take a few days (3-4) off and I notice my concentration still remains. But the extended release capsules only last about 8 hours and the concentration aspect of the drug I believe comes from a chemical reaction, ie: a dopamine release. I think the residual effects stem from a huge confidence boost that lasts longer then 8 hours. Who knows how long that confidence will last without the actual chemical reaction.

Adderall helps you focus so YES it does help with memory.. The first day I was on it I got an A on a paper, and I didn't drop below a B+ after. There are some side effects though, I have had to start taking melatonin to help me sleep because it really keeps you up at night, it also gives you dry mouth which makes you more prone to tooth decay, so u should increase your flossing/brushing and see a dentist every 6 months. Its also very expensive. The benefits far out weight the side effects imo.

Go to a doctor and tell them you have ADD. They will refer you to a psychiatrist who will give u a questioner and ask you to bring in any report cards you have from grades 1-3 because people usually have had it all their lives. If you don't have report cards from that long ago, or they don't mention anything about being "distracted" Just say you moved and can't find them. Adderall works! I had trouble all my life concentrating, now I can get A's and B's and I no longer have selective hearing..

That's the same with me, except it's not so much with working... just any activity. For example, if I were to take Adderall and go to on of my classes (High School, mind you), I'm completely mellow -- hyper, but not to the point where I HAVE to move or anything like that. No twitching or anything of the sorts.

However, a simple action like running, jogging, or even just walking around gives me a really "comfortable" feeling. For the record, I hardly EVER take it; I might not ever again.

lemme just say, I've been prescribed adderall since I was 6. Fucking like, addiction...I like can't live, funtion without at least 40mg, which is what I've been prescribed. I'm working on bringing my consumption down so I can sell more. It's not good if you take it regularly, but (for example) on midterm days and final days, I think it's ok.

have you personally tried adderall? i doubt it..people dont use it to get 'high' they use it to help them focus studying or writing papers. i personally tried adderall and it helped get through alot of work in only 2 days (considering i didnt sleep at all). i dont recommend someoen doing this for more than 1-2 times a year.

Firstly, It's the people who are using adderall and don't need it, that's the issue, not those who are impaired and have legit perscriptions. And ya coffee is pretty similar to adderal, it's basically a souped up version of adderall. Adderall is just much easier to administer and more effective, so it's the more appealing choice. But probably a lot of these people end up getting addicted to it.
