  • i love this song

  • very nice

  • All the while this was palying, my mind was wandering a bit. I do not know Spanish or Portugese, but I like Latin music. I even like music in languages I can't place, sometimes.

I like any artistic expression. Obama seems to attract a lot of artists around him. I think the country needs that right now. Art in all its varieties.

You've seen what education in the bare-bones, artless post-Reagan Republican years have brought us for art, right?

    Barack and roll!

  • PORTUGAL xD

  • This is perfect -- the whole point of the song (which I've used in my geography teaching for several years) is the deep connection between Africa and Latin America. At 3:50 in the song, he also mentions the connections between Latin America, North America and Asia.

So, this is the ultimate song about inclusion.

  • Obama's message is really one of inclusion so he doesn't have to rely on any one group of voters. The media, in large part, is responsible for the perpetuation of the belief that we're all different so therefore we can't get along. Obama's message is that we have more in common than what divides us. When we understand that all races have basically the same dreams and desires for their families that we do, it becomes easier to accept that which might, at first glance, look different from us.

  • I agree.

  • Lovely, Viva.

  • America show the light to the world.

  • Great song!

    YES WE CAN
