Grandpa's Magical Toys is a childhood obsession of mine, and you have just made it so much better. I've been laughing nonstop for 20 minutes. :)

The original film is too heartwarming for the parody to take effect, The cutting from the original seems, at best, jarring. because the nex FX doesn't fit well.

Well you have a point there but it's a matter of opinion how heartwarming it us. I believe the original itself is a bit unsettling and lends itself to such plots of you think of them. The special effects are a bit akwardly placed, yes, but you must realize the dialog is placed well with the characters words and every new line of dialog was built upon basis of what the characters said in a timed parody to follow an original plot.

Thank you for sharing your point of view. The morals of the Wee Sing series are quite friendly, but they do tend to use magic in all the stories to tell the tale, which I suppose, if taken seriously, can be creepy.

Thank you. This was one of the only Wee Sing movies I've watched though, so I'm not sure. A sequel to THIS storyline is possible though. :)

I say go with it if you have a good idea for it. If you want to use other Wee Sing videos I recommend Wee Sing In Sillyville and The Big Rock Candy Mountains (which was my favorite when I was little) [By the way I'm MOTNFIT on my other account]

I had a lot of different sounds so I'm not sure. At the beginning and most the movie I used some free sounds from iMovie but the ominous low strings were usually just me playing on the keyboard.
