"a hair sharp on the high notes"? Perhaps the listener is used to the majority of sopranos who slide up into high notes and sometimes slide down away from them rather going precisely to the high notes and holding them; at least, that is what I hear with careful listening.

She has the most beautiful voice - I would love to have heard her live. Unfortunately I have to make do with recordings.
She reminds me of the late Eva Turner.

A conductor said to me once, "flat is ugly, but sharp is at least a little exciting." Better sharp than the other direction! Doesn't bug me at all!
