This was one of the best show on t.v. I watched the reruns when I was a kid on noggin way back when, when this show and Bill Nye were on the same channel. I loved this show and one day it was gone and i never saw it again. Then I google it today trying to find something and boom someone put a wiki page out there. Such a good show would love to see a decent revival.

I worked on Ghostwriter for the entire run. I'm so glad to see how many people enjoyed the show and want to see it on DVD. We were all disappointed when funding ran out and the show was forced to end. But that's the nature of Public Television.

But DVD would certainly help all of us (myself included) who'd like to see it again and, hopefully, introduce it to a new audience as well.

@Sky534 Well, you can thank the purple dinosaur for that, back then PBS & the CPB still gave out more funding to shows like Barney & Friends for example, which lacked educational quality and was highly criticized by educational research scientists, but still didn't give enough to critically and highly acclaimed Ghostwriter, which is BULL!!! Anyhow, I've watched it ever since I could first talk and I'm still a huge fan for a 19 year-old like me to this very day.

Since some people here mentioned wanting this show on DVD, I've been going through the episodes and spreading the word about Ghsotwriter's first season coming out on DVD on June 8th. Hopefully the second and third seasons will make it to DVD as well. This 3-peat special would make for a good special feature on one of the sets as well.

If the first season sells well, but not very well, Shout! Factory will probably still put the rest of the seasons out on DVD. Except they'd just be offered exclusively at their site. They're doing the same thing with My Two Dads, C.O.P.S, and California Dreams.

If the show was suffering that badly, they needed to take a small break and then come back with new cases. I mean, I could've written better storylines than the writers back in 97.

Yeah Rob was my favorite on the show I didn't like it all when he left. Also I tried to get into "The New Ghostwriter Mysteries" but didn't work that show only lasted a season it had aired on CBS I believe in 1996 or 97. Erica Luttrell who had played Keesha on "The Magic School Bus" and played on the Canadian show "Bookmice starred on that series!!!

Same thing happened to The Magic School Bus. Also a few years later CBS tried to revive Ghostwriter with "The New Ghostwriter Mysteries" it hardly lasted a season I couldn't get into it it had a whole different cast and location.
