    I weight train every week.

    Monday :- Chest and back.

    Wed:- biceps.

    Fri:- tris and shoulders.

    i take pro elite lean mass supp and i smoke CANNABIS. i've been training for 2 years but just feel tight without any stong visable transformation please help me i need advice on where im going wrong!

  • @Spraka2 Eat around double what you're eating now and sort out your workouts. For that split it should be Monday : Chest and tris, Wednesday: Biceps and back Friday: Legs and then Saturday you can add a shoulders day if you want. Wtf is a whole day for biceps?

  • @Spraka2 I know what you mean but you can still get a good pump in a biceps and back workout. Say you just finished a set of chin ups you can whip out some dumbbells and do some curls if you really want that pump. Don't neglect your legs as well, you'll end up looking like a curl monkey with stick insect legs.

  • @Spraka2 From what I've seen, the answer is no. Providing you don't mix tobacco into your joints then it won't affect your weightlifting or growth.

    but just say for chest

    3 sets normal, 3 sets incline, and 3 sets pull over is that enough for a whole chest workout?

    biceps 3 sets dumbell curls, 3 sets barbell curls and 3 sets hammer curls.

    is that normal?

  • @Spraka2 That's alright. Uhh I'd probably say that you shouldn't do a whole workout like that for biceps. The chest one you've suggested is fine as you're using compound movements and focusing on chest in addition to triceps. With the biceps one that's a little too many isolation exercises for just one relatively small muscle. You can do that workout if you want but personally I wouldn't if you're trying to gain a generally muscular physique.

  • @Spraka2 just fucking pump the weight till your muscle says "no more" fuck sake man what the hell, how old are you? push through the pain till your muscles give way and wont alow you to push anymore, then drop the weight size and keep going! i wish i logged my work outs.... i am bigger than ever in 3 weeks and all the guys i work out with are damn suprised.

  • HEY BROTHERS - the question of that guy was competent, good. I entirely agree with you that one has not to complucate the things by weight lifting. BUT in bodybuilding are so many techniccal things that young guys coming to the gym are doing to their body more bad things as good things. I remember still now in the MR. UNIVERSE MAGAZINE an article was called INTELLIGENT TRAINING. I read it 10 times, the young guys today DO NOT READ. At least some are asking you your advise and its important!!!

  • @Xeando - :) :) today is much more complicated as you have 5x more pages, but 10x more publicity, and much less about technics and training. The Mr. Universe magazine, or Mr. America were having 75-80% of their pages dedicated to training, technics, weights etc. So its always possible to study from magazines, but you have to be very selective!

  • I usually take about 2-3 seconds to lower the weight and about 1-2 seconds to raise it depending on strength or power. I just make sure its controlled.

  • @GiefGoldPlx - that's exactlky how it should be it is so called "academic" technic, you will have muscle progression, you train safely and you will train for long years without the "brain fatigue"... :)

  • @GiefGoldPlx - yes exactly, as you have to know training 3-4 times a week with limit weights is causing a mental saturation, which is growing with years of training and with age. Never forget that!
