i love the way they dance...its just prefection when they dance....there number 1 to me....they have a chamistry which i never saw any coupling having...the way they chacha..rumba or wtvr they do there always supperior in it....i want to wish them goodluck from all my heart...and i wish that one day i will be like them....ive been dancing for over 6 years now and now im 15...and one day i want to compete to be like them !!!
Donnie Burns is amazing, a true latin dancer and the couple as a whole is better than anyone out there today. I do not like old style dancing, to be honest, my apologies to those purists who defend old technique but I think dancing has come a long way... (even if I dislike all the "trash" moves nowadays everybody loves to use to fill up their routines with)... however, Donnie was a force of nature and should be a model for dancers even today.

Without all of the shit Donnie is doing here, DanceSport wouldn't be what it is. He, and Gaynor, were without a doubt pioneers in the sport. It looks sloppy now, but back in the day the standards for dance were different, different techniques, different subtleties. Dance is a living, breathing thing and has evolved and changed since the time of Donnie, and also very much due to Donnie.
U forgot about one thing. They are pro`s and than can don`t make some things. Even if Donnie is better so what? Try to have so good partner woman. And one more thing. Videos makes moves and dancers flat. If u would seen them real u will blow up to the space man.
Perhaps that explained why Donnie never made any video during the 14 times world championship, because he had nothing concrete to offer. But that did not mean he is not talented, as a matter of fact he is. The reason is, that they dance an other style. For exemple, when you are watching Marcus and Karen Hilton, dancing chachacha in the 90's, their dance the chacha as so as Doonie. I've seen videos, where couples shows, how the people danced latin in the 80's or 70's....... It looked funny, but that was realy latin.....

i dont like the dancing of this woman.she is not powerful, strong and compact, yes may be they re fast but being fast is not so much thing. i want to see the strong legs and the sign of using every single muscle.Also what is that stop in the middle of the dance. if u dance without pause then u have to stop to breath in the middle of the dance
you know, she is POWERFUL. it is just that she is dancing so fast that you don't think she is powerful. if you get kicked by one of her flicks, she can do some serious damage!
If you want to see muscles maybe you should watch ballet or better yet, gymnastic. This is dancing. It's not about the "muscles", it's about music and movements to the music.
Every couple has a different style, and while Joanna Leunis' style is more contemporary and precise, people like Carmen or Gaynor choose to be more authentic.
And if you knew much about dancing you'd know that in order to produce the hip action and the speed that Gaynor has, a lot of power and muscle is required.
Donnie Burns is fairly unique in that he actually dances to the music.

I have never see donnie dancing with straight legs, and this is a big problem.

I just found out that Donnie Burns at the beginning learned from an American, changed all the rigid Latin dancing of his time, and
kept his secrets as the world champion for more than 14 years not to have any instructional vedios, only to private lessons.

"poetic".I referred to his pause! It is very boring for me to see a dancer going on and on,
without coma, without full stop! Usually the lesser dancers would not know how to phrase
their expression,because they do not know how,
