  • Thank you!

  • Indian languages are beautiful.

  • Hola!

Quieres aprender Hindi, Hindu o Urdu ?

    visita mi pagina: h t t p : / / claseshindiurdu. es. tl

  • Thanks for the vid. I am a Western born Indian. I am desperate to learn Hindi.

  • LOL accent.

  • oh my gosh! he def learnt irish-english!! you can hear irish accent flavours in his speaking! so cool! :D

  • Thanks for this presentation. It is an intelligent teacher with a sense of humor. I hope in the lessons that you make use of the IPA.

  • I want to learn Hindi, because soon I'm joining the Peacecorps & volunteering in India. I understand that Hindi is spoken far more often than English in India, particularly among the impoverished.

  • I know Sanskreet! ( can reading and writing speaking little)) so can i learn Hindi? becoz letters and pronounce is very same right? i mean not totally.....

  • Hi Sir!!! you are the best teacher in the whole world!!!! i love your smile.

  • How many letters are there in the Hindi alphabet?

  • @omsct 58

  • @BiancaAuger Is that including dipthongs and everything, or just basic letters? I'm not sure how it works. For example in Korean there are just 24 basic letters, but there are some dipthongs to make it up to about 34 I think.

  • i'm learning hindi but having a hard time typing it on my computer cuz the keys are all messed up :/

  • @socalguy2186 how did u learn the language ?

  • @sha6ar6oon all you have to do is go online. tho since then i've stopped learning hindi and am now learning farsi.

  • @socalguy2186 give me the website .. and why did u stop

  • @sha6ar6oon I have no idea what site i used, i just googled learn hindi free and found a site that had a bunch of lessons. i stopped because i started learning greek and i'm trying to take it one language at a time.

  • @sha6ar6oon oh and i should also mention that i've been struggling to find which language i would like to be my 3rd fluent language for awhile (in case you couldn't tell) so that's mostly why i stopped hindi, picked japanese back up for a bit, dropped that, picked up farsi, dropped that and am now learning greek which i'm determined to make my 3rd fluent language.

  • @socalguy2186 I hope u continue with greek, i want to ask u if u speak hindi can u understand urdu , i mean r they different accent or language ? Because some hindi speakers do understand urdu ...?

  • @sha6ar6oon urdu is more closely related to arabic, not hindi, to my understanding. as for whether or not you can understand it...i doubt it. even the very alphabet is extremely different, tho not entirely different from arabic. like i said, closer to arabic than hindi.

  • @socalguy2186 yeah sometimes when someone speaks hindi or urdu i dont know how but i can understand them lots of arabic words used in hindi and urdu, but as you said arabic and urdu share the same alphabet and some common words...my reason why i want to learn hindi is i want to understand the hindi movies and series ...thanks and good luck

  • @socalguy2186 as i know hindi and urdu, I can say that urdu is more related to hindi when u speak and more related to arabic when you write. u can define urdu as hindi written in arabic :)

  • @socalguy2186 urdu is wayyyyyyy more related to hindi than it is to arabic. arabic is Semitic like hebrew, urdu is an indo-aryan and stem from completely different parts of the world. urdu just took alot of words from persian and arabic and use hybrid hindi pronunciation. urdu and hindi are so closely related that they are categorized in the same sub-group as hindustani

  • @sha6ar6oon

Hello,I am a native Hindi speaker.Believe me if you speak Hindi or just understand it,it is enough to understand spoken Urdu too.But written Urdu is like that of Arabic,I'd say,my friend!

  • @ujjal188 im an arabic speaker so i thought urdu would be easy .. thankyou for the reply

  • Does the Hindi language have a tongue roll? And if so, do you roll your tongue in every word that has the "r" sounds?

    Thanks

  • @starsoverthere yes it does have tongue rolls, and it doesn't just include "r"s. it also includes some "t"s, "th"s, "d"s, and "dh"s o.O

  • hindi is the official language of india, it is a useful language

  • It would be nice to find a book for learning Hindi grammar that used English transliterations(Latin script) all the way through, instead of switching to exclusively Devanagari characters as soon as the third chapter has been reached. I have yet not found such a book, hence given up on learning Hindi, since the alphabet is extremely difficult for me to master.

  • u are Great.

  • hajibflower, many Hindi speakers have difficulty understanding Punjabi. However, many Punjabi speakers understand Hindi because they watch Bollywood movies.

  • मैं जावास्क्रिप्ट होने की आवश्यकता नहीं

  • Mr. Philip

This seems so well done and I'd love to be a part of this learning experience but I can't seem to find the website you provided. Prehaps uploading a link or clarifying in your video. Thank you for this amazing oppurtunity.

  • Nice book's you have! keep well!! ( :

  • I LOVE HINDI AND PUNJABI

  • @starvinstev i speak punjabi fluently?

    do u ?

  • What is the difference between punjabi, hindi and urdu?

  • they're different languages that share some roots. urdu is spoken in pakistan and punjabi in (punab) north india and hindi is the official language in india. there are however dozens of spoken languages in india.

  • Urdu is more like Arabic when reading and writting. Hindi is more like Chinese the samething.

  • Whats the difference between English, Gaelic and Welsh?

  • idk.. people who speak hindi can understand punjabi and urdu and vice versa. English speakers cannot understand Gaelic or Welsh

  • @waldoistwisted just like punjabi, hindi, and urdu, they share roots but were widely used in different time periods and slightly different areas.

  • @hijabiflower their different languages

  • salam..i am interested in hindi in order to speak with my brothers in india

  • i want to learn hindi, my favourite movie is slumjdog millionaire. and the language would be very helpful to understand. thanks!

  • they swear most of the time in slumdog millionaire....

  • steve171274, I suggest you learn English first.

  • My English isn't that bad, where is my English lacking ? I'd be interested to know. Oh missing the 't' off of 'that' doesn't count as that is obviously a typing error not a deficiency in my command of the English language. Actually i would go as far as saying i could show you a thing or two on English pronunciation, spelling and sentence construction. You see, my English family history goes back hundreds of years so don't worry about my capabilities as far as 'English' is concerned. U twat.

  • could you turn up your microphone it is very hard to hear you

I just want to swaddle him in a sari.

  • maybe u should try understanting him, cuz im not Indian, english is not my native language and I understand him perfectly!...

Maybe the problem is in you!....

  • @ChloeThin I talked to indian guys from Mumbai when I was in Hong Kong, and I can tell you it was REALLY difficult to understand their english!! :P But this guy here, yeah. He has a very good pronounciation. No problems to understand him :)
