Wow, I'm amazed about how much it has improved since february.

I'm using bada 1.2 at the moment which is heaven in comparison with this xD.

But this has a menu-app which I'd love to have back on the OS.

(pressing a hardware button while you have a touchscreen aint that nice when you use it often...)

the mobile OS market is too crowded, I dnt think this will be able to contend with Android or iOS. This is only going to confuse the general public further. I mean Samsung already does some mobiles with AndroidOS so i can already see this not helping the general customers. Android does one thing, it unites everyone but allows the owners of the phone to still choose different spec mobiles.

Am so excited am getting this, and here also, bada does not got any menu button, but lets see, may be in the settings, hey, can you please tell me if I can use one of the Diary app, in which you type notes, if you can attach images or sounds or business card in your one of the notes app in Samsung Wave, like in symbian, we call it Active Notes !

I've had this phone for about 2 months now, the best phone I've ever had. Watching movies in it is amazing!!. The Bada OS is fantastic works perfectly, The screen is remarkable aswell. Samsung made a FANTASTIC job with the phone.

It's ok but alot of features still aren't upto the standard of the iphone. The browser is jerky as is the music player list and 3D animation, hardly any apps for this. Why would you buy this when a iphone is soo much better and its the same price. UI colours looks pastel it hasn't got the bright vivid sharpness of the iphone or HTC HD.

you can sync your GMAIL through Exchange ActiveSync:

1. menu

2. my accounts

3. add - Excgange ActiveSync

4. fill your gmail: email, username and password (domein must stay blank!)

next

5. URL adress: m.google.com, tick use SSL

...done....

Now you can sync everithing. calendar, contacts with photos, tasks. It works perfectly

In all fairness, the Star is from years after the first iPhone. This entire "Bada" UI seems like a combination of Android, iPhone OS and Symbian.

Then again, what's wrong with that. And grid-type menus weren't invented by Apple as many seem to think, they already existed in WinMo and Palm OS way before that.
