He had a lot of tough breaks when he was a kid, though he was a punk. But I do feel sorry for him as a boy. Now, what we see is an intelligent man who made a lot of stupid choices; an old man with a wasted existence. So many people would've had better lives if he didn't screw up so badly.
@Krimxen2KV I seemed to notice that to and the reason they become physcopaths is because their family forces them to the religion which isn't a wise choice you shouldn't force religion on your child let them grow with the religion don't over due it... but Charles Manson is the way he is because of his ruff child hood he lived a life of survival and no one cared for one so he didn't care the lives of others and later down the line god was no more to him he thought he was his own god.
@Krimxen2KV the reason he wasnt a psychopath didnt relate to never having a father figure, his mom being in prison and prostituting, living with his crazy uncle, being raped in the boys school, and being incarcerated for half of his life before he was 33. It was TOTALLY his religious grandparents! You should be a damn detective! You're really good at this stuff!
@VC106893 I wasn't saying it was the cause. Zeal in any form can cause these kinds of problems. The overbearing nature of mindless believers can warp a child, if they're raised under this kind of influence.
Charles Manson Superstar takes another slant on the life of Charles Miles Manson. Susan Atkins, Vincent Bugliosi, and Nikolas Schreck had three versions of what happened and why it did during those two nights. After reviewing what all three people had to say, I think that Nikolas Schreck's conclusions are closer to the truth. I still believe that it is better to have at least two different points of view in order to reach a rational conclusion.
3:15-3:20 had me laughing so hard I cried. Manson doesn't know it but the way he tells a story about simple things is hilarious. Maybe he should take up stand up comedy.
people like Charles Manson and Hitler are bad ass when you think about it. Not good people but bad asses

@Krimxen2KV Correlation, not causation. Given that around that time around 95% were religious, you would hit the jackpot if they werent religious...
