My preferences for the New Who seasons were s1 (Nine/Rose) and s4 (Ten/Donna). I wonder: could anyone imagine *Nine* abandoning Rose on a beach...a *second* time?
Oh, that's just beautiful. And thank you so very, VERY much for avoiding that kiss that just grates me like hard cheese everytime I have to endure it. I love Rose far too much to put up with those final few minutes...or the confidential, to be more precise. And this...this was perfection. I shall now go forth and rave about it on my LJ.
Aw, thanks! And as for the kiss, I'm always a little sad when I go from watching 2x13 to 4x13...it seems like a good season 4 ending but it doesn't work with the earlier doctor/rose relationship. I think I was trying to reconcile those seasons a bit in this vid. ; )
Yep! It is out of character for the Doctor and Rose to do what they do in JE...and there really is no lead up to them stepping out of character...I mean...less than an hour earlier they ran toward one another like the biggest love scene ever...and nothing in the episode seems to break that level of affection between them...except that finale scene itself. Even Russell T. Davies thought it would never happen like that. So...
I can totally see that. On the other hand I really do like season 4 and Donna, and I love how even though Rose returns the DoctorDonna arc still takes priority. I think they probably did the best Rose/Doctor ending they could, given the circumstances...
...And as far as future characters appearances and crossovers go, there are certainly some advantages to the Journey's End ending!
PS I have a request though. Can I get a downloadable copy of it. 'Cuz YT keeps skipping out at the same place. :( And I really wanna watch it all the time on my desktop, even when my Internet futzes up and stops working, as it often does. Pretty please, with Doctor and Rose clones on top? :)
I solemnly promise that this is the ONLY reason for this, and that the only place I would play it would be on my computer to enjoy your awesome work over and over again.

I love Ten/Rose. They had unconditional love that spanned universes. It was cool to see Donna too, Ten's best friend. Very well done. :)

I have the exact same preferences! And I definitely, definitely agree about this Nine/beach thing.
(If you watch my other vids, actually, there's not a single one (so far) without at least one shot of either Donna or Nine in it!)
