it's very sad that Andrzej Wajda's film did not win the Oscar, but he hit filmmaker, who tells about Jews. This is not bad, it tells the Jews, but says it in a way that does not deserve the highest award in film. Andrzej Wajda told in a great way to the greatest tragedy that has befallen Poland and Poles. But Poland and the Poles is the last thing on which the world would have cared. if it were otherwise Andrzej Wajda's film would never have arisen.

On 28/04, Russian Archives were opened for the public to see Katyn-related documents. But it didn't help much. Many Russian are still under the spell of the Soviet propaganda and say these documents were falsified in the 90s when Gorbachov and Yeltzin wanted to please the West and Poland.

I hope this film wins the OSCAR on February 24, 2008. By the way, it will be premiering in the Berlin Film Festival which begins tomorrow (February 7th). It's Polish showing was on September 17, 2007 on the 68th anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Poland.
