I was in the same sort of relationship with my best friend, she manipulated me for her own needs, destroyed myreputation at high school so I only had her and changed who I was. Luckily I got away form her in year 9 when my family moved insterstate and have made proper friends who love me for me.

Oh crap... I knew it: made me cry. My breach in friendship was a lot like that last year, only we played both parts within ourselves.

Any movie that resonates with someone and makes them feel so strongly is a grade-A film in my book. Perfect perfomances by both Michelle and Anna; I have a lot of respect for their acting & this film.

It was almost as though they were twins. One dominant, the other, more the follower.

@aeriale yeah that's for sure...the end should have come about an hour and a half earlier in the movie than it actually did. I cannot figure out why a character as dynamic and bright as Holly would continue to be friends with such an awful person, unless it would be to maintain the connection to Nat, but it didn't seem like that was the case. Also, you never see Holly socializing with any other friends so it's literally like her ONLY friendship is this toxic one. Weird movie!

Oh the pain on Holly and Nat's eyes when they can't be with each other because of the web of lies and misunderstanding that Marina had created! ... it was just so heartbreaking and endearing at the same time!.. Michelle and Oliver have amazing chemistry in this movie!! ... I wonder if they ever fell in love while filming such an emotional yet realistic piece of art!

This was a very interesting movie. I can't help, but hate Marina. Maybe because she reminds me of my childhood best-friend. By the end of the film I feel sorry for her; I can understand the loneliness and insecurity motivating her to act in selfish and manipulative ways. Holly reminds me of myself, only smarter. I'm glad Holly finally found her true path, hopefully I'll find mine. Thanks for posting!
